Pre-test a must
Works well at removing rust & mold from vintage linens just make sure to do a small pre-test area 1st. In my experience Mama's Miracle Linen Soak bleached the area where the blemishes were, which is okay if you want to bleach your entire vintage linen stark white. My linen started out a tea color and the area's that I used Mama's Miracle Linen Soak on ended up with the rust stain removed but that area was stark white. So I then had to bleach my entire Linen white to blend in the rust removed spots. The final outcome was a clean, fresh, vintage stark white Linen but what I had wanted was a clean, fresh, vintage, tea colored Linen. Had I followed the directions and tested a small test area 1st I would have known what to expect and wouldn't have gone with this product.

Safe to use
I used this on my grandmother’s handkerchief and was amazed at how white it got. This handkerchief is between 80 and 100 years old.

Amazing results
My son and his wife are having a baby boy. I’ve been saving his baby blanket for years , hoping to give it to his son one day. To my dismay, after storing it in a trunk for 20+ years, it was yellowed and had dark yellow fold lines. I tried washing twice, but still had the stains . I used Mama’s Miracle soak and all stains are gone!!! I wish I had a before photo. I would recommend this product to everyone!

Excellent product for vintage crochet.
This worked wonderfully on pieces of vintage crochet and tatted items I picked up at a resale shop. They were all stuffed in a shoe box, and probably sat for years. Needless to say, they were dingy and spotted with stains. I followed the directions and soaked them for several hours. The solution was very dirty, so I rinsed the pieces gently, and put them in a second treatment of fresh solution. This time I let them soak overnight. The next day I gently washed them in the solution by hand, rinsed them well, and rolled them in a towel to absorb the excess water. I layed them out flat and let them air dry. It was amazing to see how well this product worked. The soil and discoloring was gone, and all but a few little spots of brown dissapeared. These were probably rust spots. I am so happy I could restore these small treasures and will be using them for vintage crafts.

Stains didn’t come out completely.
This product did lighten the stains but didn’t remove the stains.

Works as stated
I used Mama's Miracle Linen Soak to clean age discoloration from Mama's handkerchief that's over 60 years old. I didn't take a before picture but the soak worked just as hoped. I only had to soak it once with one water change. It's a white linen with blue embroidery that I plan to give to my future daughter-in-law for her wedding day. It came out beautifully & I couldn't be more pleased.

Very satisfied
I purchased this to try and restore a white linen sailor suit/pillowcases/gloves/crocheted baby coverlet that had been stored in a cedar chest. All of the items were 75-97 years old and had last been stored at least 20 years ago. They had brown spots, and brown creases where folded, and some were brown over large areas that were exposed to air. This product worked perfectly, they are all now snow white. I worked in batches of 2 items at a time in a large covered pot. I changed the water after the first hour as directed, then I just left it on my counter 2-4 days, so I could check or rearrange the items as needed. I would definitely recommend this. Some of the pillowcases had bright colored embroidery on them, the colors did not run or fade.
