Quadrafire Pellet Stove Auger Motor Castile, Contour, 1200-812-4421, 812-4420

This came with some pretty good step by step directions so I ended up installing myself.I'm impressed by how quiet it is, although I may be biased by the infernal noises the old one made before it died.Some correction on the directions, which say you only need a Phillips head screwdriver.You will need:An offset screwdriver (DeWalt made mine), a #2 Phillips bit, a screwdriver bit handle, and a 4mm hex wrench (aka Allen key) for the auger shaft set screw.Recommended: A shop vac or regular vac with hose attachment to clean out the auger. That area needs to emptied to reinstall the assembly.

I have replaced several old style auger motors to date. When I found this one I thought I would try it and so far its quieter, runs better and I hope will last the life of the stove. It certainly appears to be heavier duty. The kit came with everything I needed to install it , good instructions etc, for a variety of stoves and I was impressed.

Got my motor exactly when promised! Order was filled very promptly!!! Very easy to install, good quality. Very happy!!!

Bought it as a back up, Didn’t have to use it yet. It came 2 days earlier than expected…. I don’t like that it’s made in China, figured if it was a real Quadrafire part it’ll be made in America.

Very quiet, fit perfectly my Castile stove. Easy install better than the original!
