Fletch Lives [DVD]

Investigative reporter Irwin Fletch Fletcher inherits a mansion and quits his job to live the easy life but discovers a conspiracy involving his new land. Sequel to Fletch sees Chevy Chase return as reporter Fletch with a mostly brand new cast. Good fun and amusing with Fletch once again the wisecracking master of not very convincing disguises going up against Louisiana locals that don't want him living with them. Chevy Chase has made the role his own with a good supporting cast including Cleavon Little, Hal Holbrook, R Lee Ermy and Randall Tex Cobb. Not quite as good as the first movie but a fun sequel and sadly the last Fletch movie.

Just as good as the first

in this sequel to the highly amusing Fletch.Chevy Chase is one of the best comic actors EVER! and always has the right line in almost any situation and here in fletch lives thats still the key formula. This movie sees Fletch back and in Louisiana after being left a mansion!! The locals however are not exactly enthralled to have him in their backwater community but this is not a problem for Fletch as he is intent on discovering why they want rid of the ace crime reporter.What ensues is some fabulous comedy and Chevy showing he still can be Fletch once more!!A great movie worthy of 4 stars but not quite as enjoyable as the original.
