Solved the empty pie shell problem. Could not find the product locally, but Amazon came through.

Pie weights are the only way to make your baking of pies with pervfect results. I’ve ordered this brand of them twice and have great success with them. Be sure to get correct instruction on using pie weights. Its very easy.

Two packages might not be enough. Used in my 9" tarte pan and just made it. Will need more for deep dish pie dish.

Hopefully these work as I usually use the pre-made refrigerated pie crust. I’ve been rolling them out to fit my pie pans better. Even though I prick the bottoms with a fork they still seem to shrink up a fair amount. Hopefully this cures my issue.

Certainly worth the money

These worked perfect for my quiche crust.

Excellent product, for some reason hard to find locally. I had used beans and was tired of that. Made two quiches as soon as these arrived weight is perfect, I didn’t have to clean using the parchment paper, they are much sturdier and far more stable than old beans. Easier to use, just rinse and dry, and put back in the container for the next time!

Although a good product, I find I need 2-3 pkgs for each pile shell.
