Works for me
It was easy to set up and worked well so far. I don't need a heavy industrial grinder so this seems fine.Takes a few seconds to get up to speed but has shown adequate power for the things I need. I believe it will work fine for putting an adge on mower blades and other applications I need.

Weak motor.
Weak motor, once you put a little pressure on the wheel it stops turning. Need to be very delicate. Not worth buying.

Bench grinder is perfect for my needs.
The Buffalo 6” bench grinder is perfect for my needs. I’m a home “handyman” with many projects that come along to keep my tools in good working order. Primarily, sharpening tools. When I turn the grinder on it is at maximum speed almost immediately and at full power. I can push a tool into the wheel and it stays at full power and speed even if I push a tool into the wheel.

It's a little underpowered for me.
The grinder is fine. I should have paid attention to the amp rating. For me, I'd like a bit more power. It works fine but is slow to speed and slows significantly if I put any pressure on grinding wheel or wire wheel.

A fine second grinder
This is a small but reasonably powerful machine. I bought it for my vacation home workshop. My main workshop has much heavier equipment and I tackle projects this little grinder isn't intended to handle. For a DIY handy man/lady this is just right. If you do more commercial or large projects you need a bigger grinder.

great product,highly recommended.
For the price you can't beat this grinder but if you are going to use it for heavy work look for a bigger one;my uses are for lawmower blades at home and other lite grinding once in a while. It is great for what I want.

Met expectations at this price.
I pretty much knew what I was going to get by reading everyone else's reviews. I own a similar grinder that I store bought many years ago and I needed one fast and cheap for my son while I was visiting him. It isn't packaged very well resulting in some minor shipping damage. Initially out of the box the wheels were out of balance in the horizontal axis and the guards were bent. The motor housing was twisted to the base a little. Nothing a DIYer can't fix. The motor runs smooth and it's good for light grinding of lawn mower blades and screws and bolts and other household stuff. I think it would be a good value at $40. Those plastic shields are just going to snap off and break. I hope the thin sheet metal guards contain the wheels if they disintegrate. I use a Uvex Bionic face shield whenever I grind as added protection. It met my expectations at this price.
