NCD Medical Hot Pink 5 1/2-Inch Premium Fluoride Scissor

Firstly, I do appreciate that manufacture defects do happen and I may have just been unlucky.My pair came out of the packaging with a loose pivot rivet causing the shears to warp when trying to cut though thicknesses of material they should be able to handle. I have also noticed that the top blade is oddly 4mm shorter than it should be meaning use of the tip portion for cutting is inferior to other pairs of medical shears I own. The fluoride coating wears quickly but Ive seen this before in others so have come to expect it.In case not stated in the sellers description, these are made in China. A fact that doesn't necessarily mean low quality these days but some may like to know.In short, they were a waste of money and I would not recommend them. I have other far less expensive shears that out perform these in every way. I wish I had sent them back at the time.

Very nice product, given 4 stars as only had a little while. 5 year warranty gives you some idea how the manufacturers trust their production methods and quality control. Cuts through cotton based cloth with ease. Perfectly suitable for cutting through most clothing material. I have yet to try and leather / bikers clothing. Fine serrated teeth on one edge Should make like work of most materials very sharp. nice feel whilst in the hand.

I use these in the Caribbean to cut the spines off Lionfish after spearing them. I always had issues with standard stainless steel shears rusting quickly but after nearly 10 dives these shows no signs of rust of corrosion. Highly recommend for anyone wanting durable shears.

Best scissors used yet, still going strong after a year of use. A small scissor that fits easily into nurses uniform pocket, I managed to cut through leather easily and denim waist bands using these scissors at work. The non stick works too.
