Pretty amethyst earrings. A nice size, not too big or small, and a lovely, deep purple color.

The color of the stones in the earrings was very pale and didn’t match the necklace I purchased with them. The pictures of the earrings were a deeper purple like the necklace.

3/28/13 I want to add to this review that Peora has agreed to make a exception and take back the earrings. Hopefully, they will give me full credit as the earrings are in exactly the same condition they were in when I purchased them and I have the original packaging. So I need to add a couple of stars and perhaps they will get 5 stars at the end of this transaction. I believe there should be no doubt and no need to charge a restocking fee.3/27/13 The earring are beautiful looking but when I wore them for a few days my right ear was really hurting. I didn't expect when I took the earrings out that the hole in my right ear was torn (was larger than normal) and was infected). I purposely bought these earrings thinking that the rhodium finish would prevent an adverse affect like the infection I got.My ears are normal size but these earrings hung down on me...too heavy and I thought the posts were too thick, I hoped to return them but threw away the tag since I was wearing them. I hadn't tried them right away since I was leaving the cold climate for a vacation for 6 weeks in AZ. I am totally disappointed Peora makes such a big deal about the tag. They can replace the tag. The earrings are in the original condition and packaging. I would gladly take a credit. I just cannot wear these earrings.

Love them! The size it perfect and the color is stunning, just as portrayed online. Very rich purple, not washed out like a lot of amethyst I see. The setting gives it some depth and the posts seem very secure. Last pair of amethyst I had from a different supplier lasted about 5 months, with occaisional wear and one post snapped off. I do not believe I will have that issue with these. Posts feel quite sturdy. Recommend them for yourself or as a gift, though once you see them you may not want to give them away!

Arrived very quickly, packaged in a particularly nice little gift box. The amethysts are medium to dark purple, very nice, with a sparkly checkerboard cut. The settings are beautiful and sturdy, and as tall as they are wide. The posts are thick and the bullet-style backs are very secure. Overall these are much nicer than pictured! I needed a pair of amethysts to go with a necklace, and although these stones are a bit darker than my necklace, they're a great match and look fantastic! I've ordered direct from Peora before, and ordering through Amazon is even easier. Always high quality and nice stones.

The order arrived very quickly in a cute little gift box. I received these as a gift from my husband and I love them. The stones are a deep purple and the scroll design make the earrings look more royal. The size is perfect. I wanted studs that were light and felt like I was not wearing earrings at all because I am always on the phone at work. These earrings absolutely meet my requirements. I am very pleased with my gift and you can't go wrong with these lovely earrings.

The product image color is what I received. Just perfect because the color wasn't too dark or light.The backs are not the strongest around but I've worn the earrings all day and slept in them for several days running with no problems.Peora gave great service. The earrings arrived on within the timeframe of my selected shipping method. The packaging was a nice looking, satiny bag.All told, I'm highly pleased with this purchase and will continue to buy from Peora again.
