Stopped working shortly after purchase, Tecmate doesn't respond
Stopped working shortly after purchase- gets "stuck" or "freezes" while charging, says it is still charging but stops supplying current before battery is charged and continues to indicate that it is charging after battery is disconnected. Tecmate hasn't responded to several requests for support/warranty. Very disappointing; I have several Tecmate charges (other models) for many years now with no issues, but the Optimate7 is junk and Tecmate's (lack of) support has me looking to purchase something similar from a different company.

I have 3 different models from this manufacture. If the battery can be saved, this will do it and do it quick. The Optimate 7 is worth the extra cost. Had to charge my tractor battery and it fixed it in a couple of hours versus the Optimate 6 taking over night. Time is money, this unit is worth the money.
