Only one small thing, there isn’t enough information about where to find the carpet yarn & hessian. It would have helped to know more about where to find affordable supplies. All in all, I really enjoyed this book and would definitely recommend this book to anyone who is looking into rug hooking with yarn.

I loved this book! It is really a beautiful book with excellent photos & instructions. I love the designs! The attached pattern section is a great help. I can’t wait to get started! Easy to follow, the patterns are nice too. She uses rug wool from spools.

I had started to rug hook with wool fabric and I saw this book and decided using bulky yarn could be a lot easier! The book Is helpful with instructions and pictures.

One of the best things about this book is that it is specifically about yarning hooking i.e. it is not about latch-hooking, and it is not about using strips of fabric. Other than that it is very clearly written, well laid out and contains lots of detailed colour photos. The book has a range of activities that get progressively more difficult, and also contains a bunch of templates at the back. A superb book for a beginner!
