blocks UV radiation from vehicle interior AND your precious skin
I purchased this window film never having heard of Shanghai HoHo Industry Co., Ltd but the film was what I was looking for in terms of VLT (visible light transmission), pricing, and available sizing. I chose the 152 cm x 300 cm size to have enough film to do four side windows. It turned out to be more than enough, and probably enough to do the back window, too.I am not a professional window film installer. I was just trying to save some money by applying film to my vehicle side windows myself. The film itself seems flawless while my do-it-yourself efforts somewhat less so. I used the Gila RTK500 Window Film Application Tool Kit, Complete , a Titan Tools 12031 Mini Razor Scraper , an OXO Good Grips Stainless Steel Squeegee , and a Laser Labs Tint Meter Enforcer II TM1000 to check the light transmission of the finished job once affixed to my vehicle windows.I began by thoroughly cleaning my vehicle windows, inside and out (although not the first one, yikes), by using Invisible Glass foaming cleaner and the Titan Tools mini razor blade scraper. The scraper is essential to get any surface dirt or residue that simple wiping won't remove. Then use the glass cleaner again and use the OXO squeegee to dry it. Finally, use a clean micro fiber cloth to dry the glass. All in all, the HOHO film was easy to install although in hindsight I would have made a paper template and cut the film closer to final dimensions rather than the way I did it by awkwardly holding a length of film up to the glass and using a sharp utility knife to cut a rough outline of the window shape - a little too much wasted material. I used the application spray in the Gila kit to thoroughly wet both the film adhesive surface and the inside of the window. I see some Amazon customers have reviewed the Gila kit and stated they could do better with a kit of their own making, substituting Windex window cleaning spray for the Gila application spray bottle - NOT RECOMMENDED to use an ammonia-based fluid as a window film application fluid for ANY brand window film! The ammonia strips away the adhesive applied to the film from the factory. This is why they all recommend against the use of Windex or any ammonia-based cleaner to clean the film after installation. If you use enough Gila application spray on both sides of the film and the inside of the glass, you should be able to position the film pretty easily. Once in place, use the OXO squeegee on the wet surface of the film to force the bubbles of liquid between the film and the glass out to the sides and bottom edges of the film. If the corners are hard to reach with the OXO squeegee, you can use the Gila yellow plastic 'squeegee' to get some of the tight spots. Keep that film surface wet enough for the squeegee to glide across smoothly - if it starts to drag, it's drying out and you might damage the film with the squeegee. There are other tricks of the trade for window film installation that a professional will use - you can find them on YouTube. For example, on some vehicles it might be desirable to remove the inner door panels so that the bottom edge of the installed film sits below the edge of the door panel to avoid the inevitable scraping action that occurs when rolling the windows up and down. The finished results will turn out only as well as the effort you spent in preparation and installation. One thing that is hardly mentioned in many video tutorials is how to separate the window film from the clear backing sheet that protects the adhesive surface. I found the answer on the videos put out by Gila on YouTube. All it takes to effortlessly separate the film and backing are two pieces of plain adhesive tape, one each affixed to a corner of both the backing and the film. Just gently pull the two pieces of tape apart the the backing comes right off the film. Keep the Gila fluid spray bottle handy to wet down the film as you peel away the backing because the bare film surface will stick to itself like you wouldn't believe! Before I found out how to do this, I was wasting time trying to split the film and backing with my finger tips and finger nails - talk about frustration!I'm satisfied with the finished job and the film looks great. I used my Laser Labs Tint Meter to check the install and it reads 68% VLT - slightly below what the law allows in the state of California (70% is the minimum VLT allowable in CA for the front side windows). If I were to do the front side windows again, I would use a 75% VLT window film to get my vehicle into full legal compliance BEFORE I get pulled over by law enforcement.

not green as described, only 90 % UV protection
Arrived on time and in good condition. Unfortunately the film is not a light shade of green, but instead a standard grey/blue color. I special ordered the film because it was green and i wanted it to look like the 1960's green glass found on vintage autos. I tested the properties with my calibrated industrial grade UV meter because I require near total UV protection. The film filters 90 percent of UV A and B combined. Not 99 percent as stated in the ad. The rest of the description is accurate, but the product didn't fulfill my needs.

I like it, and works well - certainly minimizes heat
The order came early, and all in all seems to be a good product. There are a few flaws on the edges and corners, but nothing that would be a show stopper as most edges are trimmed upon install. The 4-stars is due to the 'milky' appearance that is observed when direct sun hits the film post install. I have seen other films dry to be much clearer than this one. But all in all, the price is very good for it's temperature reducing qualities.

Pretty good but not perfect
Does a great job of keeping heat out even at only 50% darkness. But is a bit easily damaged. Ive tinted over 10 vehicles, it ain't me this tints just a little too easily scratched or torn. Overall a good tint that is great with reducing heat and remaining legal (only concerned with legal on the work vans)

Check for damages
Used it to tint French doors. Yes it was a pain. Great price for the film. Shipped quick but a foot from the end of the roll was wrinkled. I did not open the roll to check and cut it into 8” lengths still wrapped in supplier’s plastic wrap! Figured I couldn’t return it by then. I put damaged pieces in inconspicuous places. I did 60 panes! 4 seven foot doors.

Cooler Office
Tinted the windows in my office. Very nice not to have the full brightness of the sun blasting through. Easy to install. Had to look up instructions online, no instruction come with the product. Don't worry about window tint specific solution, just mix up water with hand liquid hand soap, works fine.

This film is foggy after installation
4 month passed since I have install this film. At the first time, I liked the color and thickness under bright sunshine. Sooner or later I found there is a foggy tone/ unclear color per angle. I hoped the foggy color be gone away once the window gets dry, but it didn't. .

Excellent product but not for cars
Very good IR reflection, high quality material, excellent for house windows. Unfortunately is does not lie perfectly flat on curved car windows. Your are either left with a pucker or have to cut it and overlap

Quality is good
Film is thick, hard to cut and shrink, difficult cut on the window, you need to per cut then install....No idea is block UV or not, since I don't have a UV meter.
