Where to begin?I've been eyeballing a product like this for some time.I didn't know there was a version of this product that had voice control.Thus far this product has been fantastic. I used it to run lighting underneath the bed and behind the headboard.To those who use the built in sticky side, I think we all know that's not going to work.To those who use the built in sticky side on surfaces that are not smooth as glass, obviously it's not going to stick permanently. Obviously.The colors are fantastic, the brightness is excellent, and integrating it with Alexa was a breeze.I'm very happy that it's RGBW.I love that it change color to music.I can't think of a way this product could have been any better except to provide some kind of mounting hardware other than the sticky tape. I used a combination of zip ties and cabling nails.So far, it's 5/5. If that changes I will update this review. [and I mean that, some people say it and then never do it]Update: 7/14/19If you change the wifi network it's on you have to completely remove the device and add it again.Product also flickers occasionally.Update 7/30/19Flickers often and loses connection often. Have to remove and readd every time I want to use it.

Bought this lights for fun. Love the idea that you can control and change the shade using voice control via AlexaIt came with smart light strip, few connectors which can used to change the direction of the strips. adhesive promoter and WiFi controller.Easy to connect, you will need "Smart Life" app. Once you have registered your account, select "Lighting device" and follow the instructions. It takes less than 2 minutes to setup.Once setup, you can control and change the color and setup schedules via app. I liked the music sync feature where it changes its color based on the background music. Only caveat, you have keep the app open.Also, you can control the lights via Alexa as well. Unlike other smart strip lights, this can output multiple colors at the same time.Overall, happy with the product. I might buy few more to extend the lights.

Several problems with this light set. You have no option to disconnect the controller from the strip. I need that ability in order to conceal the wires behind molding without cutting huge holes to fit the controller through. Another issue is the LEDs are too far apart, which creates a spotty look on the wall. In the pics it shows a well-blended light. These do not create the nice blending as you can see in my pics. The corner connectors do not work at all. I had to solder pieces together to get them to bend at a 90 degree angle in lieu of using the defunct connectors. In order to use these lights with music, you have to have your cell phone constantly on and near the speakers in order for them to function properly. Just not for me. I tossed them in the garbage and will look for another set elsewhere,!

I initially bought this light as the reading light for the kids. But since it didn't come with the remote, I had to change my plan.Pros:- very bright- can connect to google home-able to control using smart phone (iphone is my case)-very good customer service-came in a very good packaging (anti static bag etc)-sticks to surface very wellcons-i had trouble connecting. tried using their instructions and had very hard time connecting but my other half figured it out. not sure what i did wrong- no remote control. have to use smart phone to change the colorsoverall i like this product even though i had trouble connecting initially (might be me not technologically inclined) :( my kids are mesmerized by this light!

Per the instructions, I downloaded the Smart Life app and created a login. After holding down the button and the red lights were flashing, I had no issues recognizing the device (setup is done at 2.4ghz).After naming the device and linking to my Google Home account, I was immediately able to start using voice commands to turn the lights off/on and could use voice commands to adjust the brightness percentage.The Scene and Music features are fun, but not sure how often I would use it.Finally, the schedule feature works as intended, but I wish you were able to pick the light color for the schedule (appears to use the prior color selected). You’re only able to adjust the time, repeat frequency and switch on/off.

DO NOT BUY THIS. The app is horrible and simply will not connect. You will waste hours troubleshooting and then the company will blame its inability to connect on you needing to connect through 2.4ghz wifi, which even if you do that the app will not work. In order to even attempt to get it to work you have to sign up for an account which then asks for location information and other details and sends it back to servers in China.TLDR; 1/ doesn't work 2/ app steals your data.

After VERY careful wall prep that was followed to the "T" the strips fell off wall and would not adhere. The only colors that work are white, blue,green and red. If you want yellow, you get green and red, perfect for Christmas. If you want purple, you get blue, green and red.........you get what I'm saying. Find a better option, these are awful.I’m updating this review because the customer service was amazing. They didn’t test until they made it right and I’m very happy.
