Susato Kildare Small Bore D Whistle

Very small bore whistle has lighter and easier sound than the small bore. Whistle plays in-tune with good rich sound through all registers. Received great customer service from Hall Crystal Flutes!

This is my second whistle I've ever owned and it's a vast improvement from my previous one. Came with a lovely leather case. It's got strong sound on the low notes and transitions easily to the higher octaves. Very happy with the sound, brings me a lot of joy to play. Looking forward to a lot of pleasant years with this instrument.

Price is much too high I don’t recommend

I still have the tin whistle my parents brought back from Ireland 30+ years ago and wanted to get back into playing the whistle as an adult. I previously played the flute, and I wanted a whistle that I could tune and was affordable. This whistle is worth it. I even ordered another one for my son for Christmas! Definitely recommended!

I played susato whistles professionally before and I had lost and cracked my basic high D. So this was a replacement and it is entirely satisfactory.

Great whistle... cannot go wrong with a Susato for their intonation and durability. It's nearly indestructible. If you wanted to use this as a drum stick you probably could without damaging it (though I don't recommend it)! The title is correct but the description is wrong for this item. It is indeed a Kildare D, small bore, not an Oriole. Additionally, the price is ridiculously high from 1to1Music. I hadn't done all my research when I bought this from them, but you can definitely get this much cheaper on Susato's website. 0 stars for the price, 5 stars for the quality of the instrument.

This Whistle plays so nice with a smooth sound to it. shipping was very well done nice box and pouch to carry it!

Th whistle had a great sound. It was the perfect gift for 2 granddaughters who are being taught by their grandpa.
