Cover screws could be lost.
Fan works well. Cover screws and caps are clipped ed to the front cover but come loose in transit. The bottom of box is not sealed but FORTUNATELY the loose screws had not escaped - but this must happen sometimes. Timer values printed on case are not accurate so trial and error needed to set. Good airflow so slightly noisy but not excessively.

Bought to replace older version of same model
My bathroom extractor fan was pretty loud and also making some terrible screeching noises intermittently, so I decided to look into replacing it myself.I turned the electrics off and took the panel off to find the model number (XF100T) and so bought the same one (easier than having to drill holes to mount a different brand!).What I had not realised is that whilst my existing fan model was XF100T, whoever installed it originally had removed the timer module - this meant I only had a yellow and a blue wire going from the ceiling to the fan, and the red wire in the ceiling had been isolated with tape. So at this point I realised I should have ordered the XF100S model, which is the same as this but without the timer (pretty much the same price too). However, as it turned out, I was able to easily remove the time module from this unit and connect the two wires to my ceiling wires using a terminal block (which I took from my original fan!).So now this new model is wired in and working. It is MUCH quieter than the old one (which, judging by the state of it, was probably about 15 years old or more!).The only negative point is that the unit did not include all the necessary screws - the 4 screws that hold it into the ceiling were missing (I assume these should be included, along with rawl plugs). But other than that, it's perfect - was cheap and easy (ish!) to install! It's nice and clean too!

I’m A Fan of This Fan
This was bought to go into our downstairs cloakroom. It is the exact size as stated and comes with easy to follow instructions. It’s quiet when running and though not overworked as there is little steam in the cloakroom but gets rid of what little there is.Absolutely no complaints

Easy to fit
I've just replaced an approx 10 year old Manrose fan with this one. I carefully chose another timer fan, with three wires coming down from the ceiling. The new one was an easy like-for-like replacement. My old fan was branded a "quiet" model, whereas this new one isn't. I'm afraid that I couldn't hear any difference between the two of them, so I would advise saving your cash and buying this basic model.

Cheaper than Screwfix
Bought this extractor as a direct replacement for our worn out old fan. £26.00 was the cheapest locally, £20.00 from Amazon plus free delivery as my total order was over £25. Took minutes to fit. Not the quietest fan but acceptable and doesn't wake my wife if it's running in the ensuite at night.

Good value and works fine but no non return
Easy to install although no fixings or fixing dimensions supplied.Actually quieter than previous extractor despite that being sold as low noise and operating at reduced speed.Realised it was running backwards when the wind blew.Tried to fit a non-return flap but struggled as output pressure is very low. Made it work but no flow is even lower.

There is no cord!
I needed to replace my existing fan and, having removed it, found the model number and searched for it on Amazon. I wanted it to operate from my light switch so was confused when it said that the fan was ‘corded electric’. Nevertheless, I ordered the fan and was relieved to see that it was exactly as my previous fan and I connected without any problems. There was no cord in the box despite the specifications declaring that it was enclosed and I was able to connect the wiring as before, linked to my light switch. The fan is quiet and the run-off (timer function) time is adjustable as appropriate. I’m pleased with the purchase.
