True to size and photo
I absolutely loved it. Looks just like the picture and fits perfectly in all areas. The fabric is a little on the thin side but it was fine because I ordered the black one and it wasn’t see through. I was able to iron out the wrinkles with no problems. For the price it’s worth it. I am 5’4, 188lbs and I ordered the Large.

Very nice, Butttttt
I ordered the light blue in XL. The dress came super quick. The material is thick and stretchy and beautiful. The fabic felt great on. I normally wear an XL but it was too big. I thought abought getting a large but I decided not too for several reasons. First, the straps, they are so big. I played with the straps and you can actually tie them different ways and play with them a bit. On one hand, the straps being big is good because you can tighten them and bring the dress up as too not show so much cleavage. Next, there is the stitch on the front, it is awkward to say the least. It bunches where it should not bunch. I wear a 40D, the stitch just did not sit well. Had I kept the dress, I would have pulled the stitch out. I loved the length. I am 5'8 200 LBS and it came down to my the middle of my knee. I have spider veins on my upper legs so I get self concious about showing my legs. Last thing, as I was preparing it to go back in the bag, I zipped it up and the zipper appeared to break/skip. I pulled the zipper all the way down and pulled it up and it fixed it. It was weird and happened quick. That is a faulty zipper, what if it happens again ? I ordered something else. I love being able to order with Amazon and free returns. I rarely shop stores anymore.

Runs snug but stretches. Bows a little weird.
It’s a young style with the bows (granted I’m 54), and I’ll probably be messing with them more than I want, to get them just right. The fabric is a thicker acetate, which is somewhat traditional for this era, but it makes getting the bows to lie flat a little difficult, and the dress makes some noise with movement, so expect that. (Especially if you are wearing a petticoat - noisy.)I’m a small/medium, and glad I ordered a medium. I have a smaller chest so I needed to make the straps tight, and the knots dig into my shoulders a bit. (Again with the thicker fabric not being great.) the pockets are nice, and the overall fit seems good, and the plaid ALMOST lines up. (Close enough for the price.)I’m not sure how I’m going to wear a sweater/light cover with this, because of the bows. (The listing pics always look perfect.)I just need a special occasion to wear this to, because… these BOWS.Overall quite happy.

Can’t wait to wear again
My daughters big wedding got canceled because of COVID-19, but she was still getting married. I didn’t want to wear my mothers dress I originally purchased for the wedding. I am absolutely thrilled purchasing this dress! It fits true to size, I’m 5 7 and about 190-195 and I got XXL and it fit perfectly! I purchased the Grace Karin petticoat and it added that extra touch. After the wedding we went to the casino and I had more women ask me about my dress than the bride did. If you are thinking about purchasing this dress, don’t think twice about it, buy it you will love it!

Love it
This dress is beautiful. I usually wear a medium. Ordered a medium and it fits perfect with a little room. It is actually a little stretchy. I read a review saying there was something wrong with the construction of the dress. There is nothing wrong with the construction of the dress I received. I actually ordered a different dress from another seller, as well, but kept this dress because the material is soooooo much better. I'm 5'7" and it hits the lower part of my knees. It flows nicely like a swing dress should. It is lowcut and has the stitch in it at the bust that can be removed if you want to show off your cleavage. I think I am going to leave mine in for now.

Little black dress
A friend invited us over for a dinner party and suggested we all dress up because no one has dressed up in the last year, thanks Covid. I don't remember the last dress I bought and didn't have anything nice to wear so I ordered this one and a petticoat as well. It fit well and the shoulder straps are adjustable. My only minor issue is that I would like the flap across the chest to be a little tighter and less flappy, but other than that, it's a great dress, especially for the price. A friend at the party was in love with it as soon as she saw it and asked for the link to order one for her 50s cocktail party she has coming up. I am 5'4, 123 pounds and ordered a size small.

Love this dress.
Love love love this dress. First off it has pockets. Very flattering. Wore this to a bridal shower… (tea party theme). If you are a top heavy person you will love this dress because it has a lot of room for your girls. Stretchy material is thick but not heavy, nice A-line, very comfortable. The shoulders are the straps so you can adjust how you like and tie a few different ways. Perfect dress to wear for a cocktail party, bridal shower, wedding, dinner date, etc.I did buy a crinoline to give it a little extra fluff but it’s not necessary.Great Buy… I got soo many compliments. And did I mention that it has pockets.I read some reviews that said they had issues with zipper. I honestly didn’t have to unzip to put dress on, I slipped it over my head…very easily. (Sometimes I need help with zipper so I avoid when I can. Lol.)Only issue with dress was it was pretty wrinkled when it shipped… but it was easy to iron. For reference I bought an XL. I’m 5”5 220 lbs. Dress size 14-16
