The Arisaka Side Scout Mount (SSM) is designed for use with Surefire Scout Lights, the Arisaka 300 and 600 Series, and the Streamlight Protac Rail Mount lights. It replaces the stock Picatinny rail adapter with a low profile mount for M-Lok handguards, and tucks the light underneath either side of the ATPIAL laser/illuminator series, including the ATPIAL-C, AN/PEQ15, and LA-5/PEQ. It will also allow the light to clear the QD lever on the Steiner DBAL I2, A3, and D2.The SSM is compatible with the Surefire M300A, M300B, M300C, M600B, M600C, M600P, M600U, M600V, M600DF, Streamlight Protac Rail Mount 1, 2 and HL-X, and Arisaka 300 and 600 Series.Thickness: 0.2"Weight: 0.6 ozLength: 1.265"The mount is CNC machined from 6061-T6 aluminum and MIL-A-8625 Type III hard coat anodized. Includes necessary screws to attach light body to mount. Requires a 1/8" Allen wrench and IP20/T20 Torx driver for installation (not included). A T9 Torx driver is required to remove the stock Picatinny mount from Surefire Scout Lights.

It DOES work on the StreamLight
There are cheaper options on Amazon but, they do not tuck the light in as tight to the handguard. Pay the extra money and grab the Arisaka. It obviously does work as advertised on the Streamlight 88066 ProTac HL-X. Will be buying another one so I can mount another Streamlight on another rifle.

Works great.
Works perfectly with my Streamlight HLX. Keeps the light to the rail and is very strong.

Dbal and Streamlight ProTac
This mount worked perfectly on my rifle. I have a DBAL and my old mount wouldn't let me run my Streamlight Protac tight to the DBAL. This mount fixed that problem perfectly.

Arisaka Defense, always quality.
Just what I was looking for. Works perfectly on my Midwest Industries AK handguard. It brings the light into a perfect position for me.

Great for mounting scout light with dbal
Used this to mount my surefire on the side to make room for dbal. Works great, minimal weight.
