I have been using this lock for the last 4 years. So far, it has stood the test of time. It has avoided rust. I lock my bike every day with this lock, so it is exposed to the air if not direct rain and sun. Nobody has tried to tamper with it so far so I have no idea how easy or difficult it is to pick this lock for thieves.It offers some deterrence in crowded places. I am sure seasoned thieves should be able to pick such a cheap lock with relative ease. Parking in a well-lit and crowded place is necessary even if you use this lock. This lock can stop the thief for maybe 5 minutes. Hopefully, they will target other vehicles without such deterrence. That is the purpose of this lock.

Good quality.. easy to use.. but bike might fall if we forgot to remove it before walking the bike

The drawback of this product is - If you have purchased two similar locks and have put one lock's key in another lock and try to open that lock or lock with that key, the key gets stuck in that lock, and then no matter whatever force you use, the key is not going to come out of lock, and then when you reach customer care, they suggest "check with lock mechanic locally or replace with Amazon", and at the end you'll have return the product to amazon. Now imagine, if a thief notices that you have this lock in your bike's disc, he somehow managed to arrange a key which is not originally of this lock but looks similar ( the round hollow shape ), and inserts in lock to open, the key will be stuck, and hence at the end, I think you'll have to damage the lock completely by melting or cutting it somehow, so, waste of money and time, solution for brand: if the other lock's key is not able to open another lock, you should design it in a way that the other lock's key cannot fit in the lock like the door locks ( key goes inside, but if doesn't fit, it can come out), in this lock, if another locks key is getting in, the key is rotating once very smoothly , then key is jammed totally that no force can move.
