Final Fantasy Xii Balthier Play Arts Action Figure

The reason it has such low stars on fun and education is because it is not really meant to be a "toy" that you play with. Although it is very good for drawing reference if you also want to go that route. It is very detailed and the points of articulation are well placed and easy to move. I am very pleased with my Balthier figure.

This is not a children's action figure toy. This is something you buy for an adult gamer who's also a fan of Final Fantasy games. Balthier just so happens to be one of my favorite FF men, so I was so pleased when I found this gathering dust in a comic book shop. I'm a little confused by the price on Amazon. I got mine for $24.99. Shop around folks.This is an extremely durable collectible. I was able to change his hands out (he comes with an extra two) and pose him without fearing breaking off fingers. He's very detailed as well. While it is a very close likeness in the face it doesn't appear to be spot on. The clothing however is very well done, as is the gun he comes with. His body is jointed so that achieving a realistic pose is very possible. Now if only they made a Fran action figure that could stand beside him!

The first bit of bad news. Balthier's head fell off the moment I took the figure out of the package. From the looks of it, the head wasn't molded on properly. The good news is that I was able to glue the head back on. There's a limitation to head articulation, but then again, who really goes out of their way to turn a figure's head endlessly anyways? The arm and waist articulation is pretty good. The leg articulation is decent, but not as good as some of the other figures out there. The figure stands well with of without the stand. A good figure overall.

This is a great looking figure with great detail and for a good price. Here's the bad part, but this is a special circumstance. While trying to set up the figure, his arm broke off. The metal joint had completely frozen because the figure had been set at my doorstep and its 9 degrees here. It is still a good figure otherwise. There is also a peg on the gun that does not fit in the hole in his hand.

Good figure, but my first one broke at the bicep, I guess this is what I get for going to Play Arts figures blind, but do not worry, I plan to get a second one.4/5

Qualità/prezzo ottima, consigliato a tutti i fan di ff xii. Dettagli fedeli al personaggio originale, buona possibilità di movimento degli arti.
