PurO3 Fully Ozonated Olive Oil with Lavender - 2 oz

I bought this product to treat a skin fungus on a family member who is old, frail and immuno-compromised. The fungus she has, unfortunately, is resistant to prescription anti-fungals. We made enough progress in a week's time with the ozonated olive oil that I ordered MORE. But the second time around I ordered ozonated hemp seed oil because it is stronger and holds more ozone. I am quite encouraged that we seem to be making progress, especially since we have no other options ... anti-fungal meds no longer work. And for those who don't know, Diflucan/Fluconazole is a NASTY medication. It's kidney toxic, liver toxic, alters (prolongs) the QT interval (how the heart beats) and has devastating effects on cognition in people who have dementia. The difference between the ozonated hemp and ozonated olive oil is that ozonated olive oil absorbs into the skin more easily. The ozonated hemp oil leaves a protective barrier and does NOT absorb into the skin as readily. That's actually a benefit in our case. The ozonated hemp oil is twice the cost of the ozonated olive oil because it is a very challenging, quirky oil to produce correctly. But I find I only need to apply it ONCE per day, compared to ozonated olive oil which needs to be applied twice per day. So it works out to be the same price ultimately ... twice the price compared to ozonated olive oil, but lasts twice as long. I do need to warn anyone intending to use it for the purpose I am, that shortly after applying the ozonated hemp oil, her skin becomes cherry red. But what you need to be aware of (as it relates to eradicating a skin fungus) is that oftentimes, things will get WORSE before they get better. ANYTHING that would be effective killing a fungus is going to elicit an inflammatory response as the fungi die. So when I evaluate how effective ozonated olive oil or ozonated hemp oil is, I'm looking at the progress (or lack therof) over TIME, not five minutes after application. The reason I feel we're making progress is that the following day, right before I re-apply the ozonated oil, her skin color and integrity are looking better and better and the redness is fading. When I called the company to ask some questions about the product and how it was produced, the owner, Jerry, answered the phone. He answered all of my questions about how the product was produced. One of the things I learned is that the lavender essential oil they use is ORGANIC and sourced from France. PurO3 pays meticulous attention to detail and the quality of their products. When I expressed an interest in the ozonated hemp oil, he accurately described the product so that I knew exactly what I was getting. Not only is ozonated hemp oil a challenging oil to produce, it's challenging to apply. My trick, there, is to use a latex glove to apply ozonated hemp oil. As sticky as it is, after I'm done applying it, I peel off the glove and throw it in the trash. Easy peasy! Of note to anyone using this product to fight a fungus, lavender oil is a potent and powerful antifungal all on its own. Do a Google search on ... "essential oil" lavender fungus OR candida I couldn't be happier with the products I've purchased from PurO3 or the support I've gotten from the company. I loved the fact that I got a chance to talk to the owner of the company. I spoke with Toby the second time I called and found him to be just as knowledgeable, caring and helpful. You might think that $20 or $40 for two ounces of ozonated oil is expensive, but not when you start seeing results. And honestly, at any price, there isn't another company that produces ozonated oils that I would purchase from. You're in good hands.

I love this stuff, use it for everything, and tell people about it all the time! It does have a strange smell that takes getting used to, but it's good for so many things. Cold sores, canker sores, skin issues, bacterial infections. Good for melting tarter if you run your floss though it first. A friend got sunburned badly on both shins a while ago. One shin healed just fine, but the other one was left with permanent red raised blisters/bumps. It was noticeable and bothered him. I gave him some of this to put on it and it healed the bumps. I had a milium (white bump/cyst) on my eyelid and it was so close to my eye that the dermatologist couldn't treat it. It made me very self-conscious and frustrated that I couldn't get rid of it. I even tried using a lancet, but it kept wiggling away and I was afraid I was going to stab my eye. Dumb, I know, but I was pretty desperate. I randomly put this on it just to see if it would do anything and within a few nights, it went away! I was washing my face the next morning and saw what looked like a little seed on my hand. I looked up at my eye lid and it was the milium that had come out. My eye lid looked normal! And it's been that way ever since! That was a few months ago. I've been telling everyone I know about this stuff since then. Great addition to your medicine cabinet!

This product works when you need relief from a skin irritation. I tend to have them in my arm pits and in 2-3 days my pain/tenderness is gone. Pur O3 is a little on the pricey side, but it’s worth the money. As a heads-up, the scent is not great — especially if you use it before bed and you sleep next to your significant other. It’s not just this brand because I’ve used a couple of others — olive oil and lavender just does not smell good, but it does the job.

My doctor suggested I get this for my eczema. Though I've been using this product, my eczema hasn't altered. Since my doctor told me to use it, I'll likely keep doing so. Smells good. Thick, gel consistency. Update 11/9/2018 After discovering the reason I have eczema is candida of the digestive system (also known unappealingly as "leaky gut"), I went on a hunt for any and every cream to help stop the crazy itching. I literally tried over 20 creams (at many expense levels) and the most effective product was Wild Naturals Eczema & Psoriasis Cream. Wild Natural's Eczema cream alternates well with the Pur03 salve. The candida was diagnosed through a blood test after I'd been suffering from eczema and seborrheic dermatitis for almost 3 years. After a little over 3 weeks of the candida diet (no sugar, yeast/gluten, or dairy), I'm not having the outbreak of eczema!!! I will need to be on this diet for 4-6 months to get my levels of flora in my gut to a healthy level. I combined this product with one other topical ointment that my doctor suggested: PurO3 Fully Ozonated Olive Oil salve. The one on my bedside table is Mustela Stelatopia Emollient Balm, Rich Daily Baby Cream for Extremely Dry to Eczema Prone Skin. Changing my soap was a huge game-changer as well. My most favorite and delightful surprise for soap (and many of their products) is Tree to Tub's Gentle, Sensitive Skin Body Wash. I loved this so much, I got some plus the shampoo for my step-mom, who is suffering from a wicked case of psoriasis (she LOVES it)! In the shower, I use lye soap. Even if the eczema stays gone (which is ideal), I now know how to help keep my skin hydrated and protected during the dry winter months. Best wishes to you and healing your skin!!!

I love the smell. The lavender is subtle. I am using this for acne. I have some deep hormonal acne along my neck and jawline and it’s really helped to clear it up. It started to work after the first week of use. I applied once a day in the morning (sometimes again at night), and I usually use another oil and moisturizer at night because I find when this is gone my face feels a little dry. A small amount goes a really long way!

I suffered from contact dermatitis on my face for the last 7 years, refused to use steroids so it got worse as I had to exfoliate and use a thick layer of oils+foundation to cover the damaged skin. Since I am using this product all the skin symptoms disappeared and I don’t even need to use foundation to cover my skin. This product was magical.

I use this product for sun damage and wrinkles. After using it for a month, I can say that my skin is brighter and the sun spots are less visible.

It came wrapped in dry ice so still cold and out in fridge right away to preserve ozone. I use it as a night time skin treatment to heal my rosacea and sensitive skin. It’s very powerful for healing and also works for anti-aging and moisturizing.
