Kaempferol is up there with quercetin and fisetin as an important bioflavonoid. It just hasn't gotten the same publicity. The problem though for all these bioflavonoids is bioavailability. It's hard to get the full impact as a result. Some companies solve this by increasing the amount of the ingredients per pill or more recently, using liposomal delivery into the cells. This product does neither unfortunately. There is a company in Europe that makes a liposomal kaempferol, but they don't sell outside of Europe. I wish violet herbs would sell one. Until somebody does, this product will have to do. The quality of all violet herbs products is good. They're an excellent small company. Hope they can make some changes for this product to make it more bioavailable.

The back label clearly states 100 mg of Kaempferia Galangal (aka aromatic ginger). 100 mg of K Galanga contains tiny amount of Kaempferol. While you think you are paying for 100 mg of Kaempferol (as listed in the title of this listing), in reality, this is not true, and you are paying for a small amount of Kaempferol in 100mg of K Galanga extraction. Effectively, you are getting some powder with tiny amount of Kaempferol in it. If you need ginger, you can find ginger for far less on Amazon. If you need Kaempferol, this is not a product for you.
