OXO Good Grips POP Container - Big Square Tall - 5.7 Litre, White

Storage containers which holds spaghetti are surprisingly hard to find. This one holds the standard packs found in most UK supermarkets. The lids Al terrific the push button requires very little force and lock and seals and unlocks the jar. This is so much easier than grappling with, clips or having to press hard around edges I have a number of these jars in a variety of sizes for variety of products. They seal effectively and keep the contents fresh. They are not the cheapest storage containers but they are durable, easy to clean easy to open and close, look modern and streamlined and so are value for money.

these are too good. I used to buy cheap version from b&M or how bargains and they would frequently split or the lids would break or the lock mechanism would only work 1 way.but these...are brilliant, work super well, sturdy, seal well, and some of them have the notch on the inside to hold those cute little scoops.thats why I now hate these, coz I cant buy any other type of container.

This 2.6 litre square container is part of the second version of Oxo's POP container range. The first version was downgraded to this second version as regards build quality, sturdiness and they're not as airtight. The second version has thinner lids. They're not even as airtight as Lock & Lock boxes (buy Lock & Lock here on Amazon). I own lots of Oxo POPs, both versions, and lots of Lock & Locks.I store dry foodstuffs that won't go in the fridge in the first version of Oxo POP boxes or in Lock & Lock boxes. I use the second version of Oxo POP boxes (such as this 2.6 litre square box) for short-term food storage only AND if it's going to be kept in the fridge.Considering its limitations, this box is very expensive at 15quid. Splash out if buying as part of a set (as I do) but this one I bought specifically to use with PrepDeck, because PrepDeck doesn't come with an XL box and won't ship XL boxes outside the USA. This Oxo box neatly spans the width of two standard PrepDeck boxes, and is taller, and the style of the base (clear, acrylic) matches the PrepDeck containers. (Buy PrepDeck from Amazon US.)All Oxo POPs containers are modular. They stack. Ones of the same size/capacity won't nest, meaning bulky storage when not in use. The bases are dishwasherable (upper basket). I handwash the lids. This box comes with an instruction leaflet inside it which shows how to disassemble the lid for washing, and how to re-assemble it.

The 1L size is perfectly adequate for 200g jars of instant coffee from the likes of Kenco. The 4.2L I originally bought for flour but it's actually too big for a 1.5kg bag you'd get at the supermarket so I'd recommend buying a size down if that's your intention. I'd also recommend giving these a clean when they first arrive the seal wasn't ideal to begin with but after a sink wash and air dry out the seal worked quite well.

Stylish to look at ,easy to use and stackable!

Bought this for storing 1.5kg pack of flour. Fits perfectly. I like the popup lid. Looks sturdy and well made.
