For years, my skincare routine was pretty simple: wash my face and moisturize, and slather on sunscreen if I can remember. But as I approached my late 20s, I realized that my skin wasn't looking too great, and I was starting to get fine lines and dry patches. So I decided to add a hydrating toner to my routine. I've used toners before as part of an oil-control/acne regimen, but they were all very drying and irritated my face even with a lot of moisturizer. I have sensitive, slightly acne-prone combination skin that breaks out in reaction to most drugstore products, so I look for items that do not contain added fragrances or alcohols. My t-zone tends to get oily during the day, while my cheeks dry out. I would usually blot my forehead to get rid of the excess oil, and reapply moisturizer to my cheeks to keep the flakiness away. Klairs toner has a watery to almost gel-like texture that absorbs quickly and doesn't leave any sticky residue. The first time I put it on my face, my skin absorbed it so quickly that I decided to put on a couple more layers, then sealed it all in with moisturizer (I use the oil-free one from Trader Joe's). After a few weeks of this regimen, I noticed that my skin wasn't as oily or dry as it used to be. It turns out I have dehydrated skin, which caused my t-zone to produce more oil to compensate for the lack of moisture. I don't always drink enough water, but since adding Klairs to my routine along with a hydrating sheet mask once or twice a week, my skin is now much softer and smoother to the touch, making makeup easier to apply. Just last week, I forgot to put sunscreen on my face and got a mild burn on my forehead and cheeks. The toner was very gentle and helped to soothe my irritated, sunburned skin. I think the added moisture prevented it from peeling too much. Despite the lack of fragrance, the botanical oils in this toner give it a pleasant scent. The dispenser makes it easy to control the amount you use, so there's no risk of spillage and wasting product. I've been using it for about 3 weeks now, but the bottle still feels completely full so I'm sure it will last for several more months. It also travels well. Just soak cotton pads with the toner and store in a sealed ziploc bag. As with any skincare product, your mileage may vary. This toner may not work for everyone's skincare needs, and I would patch test before regular use to make sure you are not allergic to any of its ingredients. But I am impressed at the improvement in my skin's hydration and texture, and would definitely recommend this product to anyone who also has dehydrated combination skin and is looking for something to rebalance and add moisture back to their skin after cleansing. I would also recommend using a moisturizer after Klairs has soaked into the skin, to help seal in the moisture. Edit (9/19/17): After using this toner more liberally, about 1/5 of the bottle is gone, so it's more accurate to estimate that it will last 4 more months. I still believe this is a great value for the quality of product.

Hello everyone! I decided to leave a small review. I hope you find this helpful. I ordered this a few weeks ago. I would like to say that this is by far the MOST helpful toner for my skin. I literally love it so much. It makes my skin soft and genuinely hydrates it. I love this product but most importantly that it doesn’t make my skin itch or turn red. I would definitely recommend. If anything changes then I’ll update!

I have never used a toner before, but I recently started a 10 step skincare routine and apparently toning is highly essential. Let me say, now I agree! I am 29 yrs old, female, oily and hormonal skin. I have irregular breakouts, I get shiny on my forehead, nose, cheeks, and chin. This toner has excellent reviews on popular K-beauty websites, but was very expensive. Here, I found it much more reasonably priced! Yay! After I double cleanse and exfoliate (only twice weekly), I pour a few drops into my palms and press into my skin. Immediately any redness literally disappears, magic! But this is my own skin, this is my own personal result. It does not make my skin tacky or sticky feeling, it does not sting or burn at all. A toner is meant to rebalance the skin after cleansing and exfoliating, and my skin loves this toner!! My skin tone is more even and brighter since using this product and definitely feels more plump and supple, just like its name. It has little to no fragrance. This bottle will last a very long time too, you only need a few drops for each application!! I highly recommend this product for any skin type, it is very gentle yet effective. Klairs made a huge impression, one of my favorite products. My skin has calmed down so much. I would love to try more products from Klairs!! Quick shipping, authentic product, great seller!!!

Please keep in mind while reading this: I have terribly sensitive skin (allergies that make me break out in bad rashes on my skin, something I feel I've been fighting since I was very little with medication, skin creams, etc. etc.) and it's really hard to find products that work for me. I had been wanting to try out the Korean skin care routine because really nothing else seemed to be working, but I also wanted to keep to cruelty free products. After some research, I was able to create my own "Korean skin care routine kit for sensitive skin" and WOW, my skin feels amazing. Unfortunately, since I bought them all at the same time and started using them all right away, I can't attribute any one thing to keeping my skin feeling so soft, my pores shrinking, my rashes GONE, and the CONSTANT peeling on my nose also no longer being a problem. What I CAN say about this toner is that it does not dry out your skin like most toners to the point where you have to immediately put on moisturizer right after. I love that it doesn't give you that squeaky clean feeling! For those that have sensitive skin, just be careful - after about a week or two it began to sting slightly. Although I kept using it and I DO have sensitive skin, everyone's reactions are different, so just be careful. Ce produit est l'un de mes coups de coeur. L'ayant acheté il y a quelques semaines de cela je dois avouer que j'étais très septique aux premiers abords, ne sachant pas vraiment s'il allait réellement tenir ses promesses. Eh bien oui ! Il a plus que tenu ses promesses; en effet depuis son utilisation (que je combine avec le Sérum Klairs de la même marque: combo parfait pour les peaux acnéiques comme la mienne!) ma peau est vraiment agréable à toucher, les taches d'acnés se sont estompées, sont devenues bien moins visibles qu'auparavant. Ma peau est douce, revitalisée et hydratée toute la journée ! Je conseille de l'appliquer après le sérum et avant sa crème hydratante pour un effet optimal. Il y a une odeur qui pourrait sans doute déranger quelques personnes mais je vous rassure, elle s'estompe très rapidement au bout de quelques minutes. Ce produit fait désormais partie de ma routine soin du visage, matin et soir et c'est sans aucun doute que je le rachèterai une fois le produit fini ! (Sincèrement vu la taille du produit et le peu de quantité qu'il faut prendre je pense qu'il me durera un bon bout de temps!)

Ich nutze diesen Toner schon seit Jahren, habe absolut nichts dran auszusetzen. Ich habe eher eine Mischhaut (leicht ölig aber eher trocken) und der Toner ist schon seit Jahren mein erster Schritt (nach dem Cleansing) in meiner Routine. Gibt Feuchtigkeit und liegt nicht schwer auf der Haut.

This was advertised as per product info. as an 'unscented' toner. Not only is it scented but it also contains Eucalyptus, Lavender, Citrus oil, Lemon Peel oil, Flower oil which is difficult to type or understand unless you ask the "Googles Team"--and some hinterto unknown to us in the anglo-speaking world (unless you are majoring in Advanced Botanics 202) "Perargonium Graveo lens - and also add on copper and Tripeptide-1! It is very heavily oiled and seems to stick like scotch tape to face skin. It was successfully refunded by the excellent Amazon customer service same day and glad to report I reordered another (I know you are wondering why by now!) Dear Klairs product whose ingredients do not require a warning email from the Googles that you need to pay extra for cloud space storage in the Cloud but contains earthly, healthy ingredients that make this a great toner and will be ordering bigger bottle next. Same size, same company (althou there are non-believers out there) but the package is blue and ingredients take half the space taken by this little mini-Klair (forget the "Dear")! Please check Amazon for the Other One from Dear Klairs (still figuring out whythey'd want to be so familiar with all the Klairs or Claires out there with the amount of 'returns' they are probably getting!
