Chameleon's Colors

We own this book. It is a family favorite. The story theme is great...BE HAPPY IN YOUR OWN SKIN! The illustrations make this very memorable. And YES, now that my kids are a little older, we have an actual pet chameleon that looks just like the one in this book! I'm getting a copy for a friend who is just beginning her own collection of children's books.

I have many many many baby books and this is one of my favorites to read to my son. He is 3 months old and LOVES looking at the pictures. Its also fun for me to read too because its just so cute!

Really enjoy the book it went well with the lesson on chameleons I was doing. It is colorful and the kids really enjoyed it.

I bought it to use in my elementary art school class. I worked great with teaching second graders about colors and color mixing.

I do think that o like Eric Carle's "mixed up" chameleon a little better though. Or maybe Leo Lioni's "Colorful Chameleon."

I am planning an art lesson with my students beginning with Eric Carll's Chameleon story...this is a bright, easy, colorful way to add to the motivation!

Great book both for children and "memory care" adults. Beautifully illustrated.

This book definitely has great drawings and fun colors. For those who don't like the story because it's too violent, have you ever read (the real) Grimm Fairy tales?! My baby is not old enough to tell me if she's scared of this book or not, so I can't say whether it's too scary or violent, but I think there can be a lesson about appreciating who you are, just the way you are. So far, she likes the pictures. I grew up with the original Grimm Fairy tales, and they are WAY scarier.

This book is great for kids. I read reviews here so I was curious was this book really so good. My daughter has some school project abouth her favourite animal. And this was very good book for extra inspiration . Kids definitely like to talk afther reading, what happened, why is this or that . Wich seems great educational and entertainment. As Walt Disney like to say edutainment is the key.

This is my sons' favorite book of the moment, they fight over who gets to hold it! They are only two but the colors are so rich and they love seeing all their favorite animals in polka dots, rainbows and checkers. They also like to find the chameleons hiding in the night at the end of the book. If you can read Japanese, it should be fun to read it in both languages. A must have!!
