Easy to apply, dries fairly quickly as long as the surface is properly prepped (applying it over a spray finish like Polycrylic helps with the dry time tremendously), and easy to build up. It's super buttery to the touch and if the first pass isn't gold enough, wait a day or 2 and just add more layers until the desired opacity is achieved. It really added the pop that my office desk needed and I still have most of the jar left to use on other items to my hearts content. Didn't need any fancy tools to apply it (a clean, dry finger and a soft dabbing motion works really well) and it arrived a solid week early. Definitely recommend this product.

This is better than I expected, I didn’t want to buy something I’m unfamiliar with but I used it for some furniture and completed a project and you can’t even tell I used any product from the container volume.

My mother painted over my grandmothers antique dining chairs!! She thought it looked great. IT DOES NOT! I’m in the process of getting them close to what they were, as she ONLY painted the chairs NOT the china cabinet or the matching table! As with a lot of antiques from a certain style and era, there was/is a gold tint to the “antiquing” and this wax is PERFECT!!! I’ve already used it to touch up some spots on the cabinet that were damaged when it was moved and it blends in very well and looks as close to original as I could hope to get.

Love love love this gilding wax! I’ve tried others that didn’t work hardly at all & were such a huge waste of money so it’s wonderful to finally find a wax that actually does what you want it to. In fact, it works so brilliantly that you have to apply very sparsely & sparingly because a teeny-weeny bit goes a lonnngg way. Love it!

Love it! Ive tried a few diffrent brands but this ones amazing! Glass jar means it wont dry out so fast in a tin.
