I love that this dog "bed" is the perfect size to fit inside my pup's kennel. It's also nice that it's thicker than the fleece kennel liners and most of the kennel liners. However, I still wish that it were thicker and more like a traditional dog bed. It's not even an inch thick and seems closer to a comforter than a bed.I do understand why it's not a great idea to have a thicker bed inside of a kennel as dogs can get their paws caught between the bed and the front lip of the kennel at the bottom. But I think that's a design flaw of the kennel that needs to be addressed. Or it could be solved by adding a panel to drape over and out of the front of the kennel. Many dogs love sleeping in their kennels. My last pup loved hers and felt safest there during thunderstorms. And older dogs should have more plush surfaces especially if/when they suffer from arthritis. My other arthritic dog has an orthopedic bed and if he was as attached to his kennel as my last dog I would be trying to figure out how to get him a special bed inside of it.I'm also not so thrilled about the price tag. It seems awfully expensive for two pieces of fabric with a bit of poly fiber fill and a baffle seam around it. I don't normally pay this much for dog beds.

My dogs love these as a blanket on top of their crate mats and other beds which keeps their difficult to clean orthopedic beds from getting dirty. These are very easy to clean, just machine wash and dry. They don't fall apart with repeated washing.

I'm really impressed with this product. I have 2 large dogs (100 plus lbs). They previously had a different model of the Pet Dreams crate mats that lasted for several years. Even though I was pleased with their other mats, I like this one much better. They fit their crates well (I have a hard time finding mats that are the right size for their crates). They are about 1 1/2 foam so they hold their shape well. Many mats for large crates have 3-4 inches of foam which is too much in my opinion. They are priced reasonably. Since getting his new mat, my dog spends much of his time in his crate. He loves it! I haven't washed it yet so I can't say how well they wash. What I will say is the other model I had by Pet Dreams washed well and I expect the same results with this one!

This is the perfect pad! Besides being ultra soft and comfortable, it holds its shape even after several washings and the soft material still looks new. I have two different size crates ( one is for travel ) and after buying one pad to see if I liked it ... I ended up buying two for each crate so I always have an extra one while the other is being washed. It makes me happy knowing that my little Corgi is warm and comfortable while sleeping or traveling in his crate. I highly recommend this pad, you will not be disappointed!!!

For the price it isn't a good value although our lab mix likes it. We don't use it inside a crate but as a dog bed. We throw a folded up blanket on top of it to increase its thickness which it is lacking. It's OK but not great. The traditional dog beds with the Styrofoam beads our dog won't use. (We wound up replacing it with fiberfill which he does like.) So, that's the reason we got this rather than the dog bed cushions most often available locally. Durability and wash-ability remain to be seen.

I purchased this to replace a cushy bolster-type bed of poor quality fabric that was getting holes and losing stuffing. This bed was supposed to be resistant to claws. It seemed small although the measurements were accurate. It also seems like a comfortable pad but I expected more cushioning around the edges. It is reversible, however both sides are the same slippery fur, so there is no advantage to flipping it over. My dog doesn't seem to like it very much as he shoves it around and halfway out of his crate to get comfortable. I will not return it because he has used it, but I may try to make a cover and bolsters to fit around it because that is what I think he really wants.

We got this when our dog was still a pup in the chewing phase, and ended up having to leave it out of reach for a few weeks until it smelled like the house. Then we covered it with an old towel so she wasn't as tempted to chew. We still cover it with an old towel, which we change weekly, because that's easier to clean than the bed. She much prefers this bed to the thicker foam type. She graduated from the crate years ago - we don't use them once a dog is house trained - but this is still the bed she likes.

Very comfy and aesthetically pleasing. It’s super easy to clean, and it is holding up really well even though my dog will sometimes scratch it up against the wall of her crate when she gets excited to come out. She loves to go sleep on it even during the day. It also fits the dimensions of the crate perfectly, and I’ve gotten others that supposedly were built for the size of our crate (I think it’s 20 inches but I forget) and they were slightly smaller than the dimensions and kind of took away from the space in the crate. Since this one doesn’t have a rim I feel like she has more space and it just has better padding overall than some other ones I’ve used.

Our new puppy loves this dog bed so much that this is the second one we bought. It is extremely plush and soft. I really like that there isn't a zipper for puppy to chew on. We haven't had to wash it yet but based on other reviews I don't expect any problems. I was very happy with the price - I had bought a cheap version at TSC and paid nearly the same amount. Don't hesitate to purchase this dog bed, you won't be disappointed!

It took a few days to get used to it but after our big labrador licked it ,kicked it to her shape and saw that it was placed so she could see out the window,it is her new home at home. quality seems nice and the color is perfect so that the hair does not show too much. We ordered one for the older dog but he insists on sleeping everywhere else.Good product.

My Pointer ripped it the first night BUT she did sleep all night until the alarm went off! I sewed it up and hasn't been a problem since. Considering how hard she is on her dog beds, it's holding up pretty well other than the initial incident. However, for the price of it I certainly expected to get more of a pillow than something that is hardly an inch thick.

My doggie loves it. It’s soft and he seems very happy with it.

Good looking and easy to care for, and the dog likes it too. It fits a 48" crate beautifully and seems to be a decent material that will last a long time.
