HLR Room Heater Crystal Glass Panel Heater for Large Room, Electric Space Heater with Remote, Black

It looks modern and sleek and it is safe for pets to be around because the glass did not get hot. Yet, I notice a scent being produced from the product that I didnt care for so I sent it back.

I would like to say that this small electric heating is not small, and super appearance level, now with it every night before taking a shower a few minutes I will turn on the heating. The heating process is quick. Perfect. And it's not expensive

I have not been able to use this since two of the front screws that hold the glass are missing so glass is barely hanging on. I went to the hardware store to try and find some replacement bolts but the trouble is that the nuts are behind the control board and I have to remove that now too. This is how it came. I was going to return it but my kids already destroyed the big box - cuz kids love Amazon boxes. It looks like a cool heater though...nice and shiny at least so can use for a mirror.

I won this from the Sweepstakes page. So I thankfully didn't pay for this.It isn't some new tech, it's just boring old electric baseboard heating tech with a "tempered" glass front. No UL stamp but has ETL. I didn't bother checking if it's actually listed with them.CONS:Considering the price currently advertised at the time of my writing the review, the build quality disappointed when the knob on the lower right just spins freely and loosely. The LED is bright blue and I imagine it would be quite bothersome for those who need absolute darkness to fall asleep. It is pretty quiet compared to the Bonaire micathermic heater I got from Costco ages ago which has a noticeable hum. This one has a high pitch whine that I could barely perceive (may be more perceptible for people younger than me).PRO:It heats up pretty well.MEH/EH:The width is wider than you expect based on the product photos.The controls are overly complicated. You really only need on or off on a product like this.TLDR: If I were going to pay over $50 for an electric baseboard heater, I'd go for another product.Thanks HLR for giving it away for free as a sweepstakes prize, but I would not pay more than $20 for this heater. It only took me clicking randomly through Amazon's sweepstakes page.
