Works great for Tennis
I have used this camera extensively to film tennis matches and it has performed well. I hook up an external battery and have filmed up to 8 hours straight, using three cameras at a time. Could have gone longer. I understand the other reviewers comments though about the wi-fi, but it has since been fixed and works fine. I can't say about biking or boating or whatever, but for tennis, it's great. Picture is crystal clear and the lcd display on the back makes it easy to control. By way of full disclosure, I sell this camera as a package with my camera mount for tennis players at MyTennisTools.com and my customers find it is performing fine for them. No complaints so far!

I purchased the Veho Muvi VCC-005-MUVI-NPNG MUVI HD several years ago. It has been a wonderful video camera for all my dive trips around the world..... Now for thier newest KX-2 NPNG camera. PRO's: Great photos and videos! CON's: 1) The included instruction manual is vague. 2) With camera set for 4K recording. The battery life is at best just under 2 hours. But, it is replaceable (if you can find a replacement. Veho website never has them in stock and not found anywhere else). 3) The water tight case doesn't come with any type of back-up for closure latch (the anti fogging pads that come with camera won't fit in water tight case). 4) Same goes for the quick release camera frame. 5) Veho customer service can be non-responsive when it comes to certain questions. 6) Now this one is a biggie. Their WiFi app, sucks! The app crashes "EVERY TIME" you try to use it! It just does not work! "DISCLAIMER" I originally purchased this camera on Amazon. But, when it arrived. It was missing several items/parts. An I had to return it and purchase from a local retailer (left for dive trip the day after receiving from Amazon). I don't blame amazon. As always Amazon took care of me! Circuit City was the seller and it was only fulfilled by Amazon. Veho and/or Circuit City should have inspected before shipping it.

No support from manufacturer
The camera arrived in a slick case, all components present. User's manual is barebones and marginally helpful. I had problems with the battery charging. The only support option was to Email the company in England - which I did and three weeks later I have yet to hear from them. In spite of downloading the app, I am unable to sync my phone with the camera which makes using the camera much less efficient and practical. My impression is that this is a cheap 'knock-off' of the Go-Pro and a regrettable purchase.

THEY don;t work
Very compact, very neat. Picture seemed very clear. Problem was they {I tried 2] don't work. First one was always in record mode and recording, stop button had no effect. I could get into the menu but as soon as I came out it started recording. Only way to stop was turn the whole thing off. 2nd one not much better, I could at least get into the menu and still photo mode but switch to video and it would record non stop, again stop button useless. Wifi would not connect on either. I wanted one of these to replace previous model which I had for 18 months, touch screen stopped working and although I replaced the screen it never really worked again. Contacted Veho - ignored, contacted them again re new ones to ask for the advise of a technician who contacted me via email but as soon as he realised the cameras were faulty no more communication. After sales service NIL points. I shall order a Go Pro.

Super tiny yet full featured
My initial impressions are quite good. It's really, really tiny and solidly made. You'll need a micro SD card. Read the instructions because there are a couple of things that aren't totally obvious, like how you press the power switch to start the video and the red video button to stop it. But it's easy enough to master. There are quite a few settings, but the touch screen makes changing them easy, even though it's very small. I like the various interval setting to capture stop motion movies, and you can do things like automatically take a still photo during video every two or five or more seconds. You can record just video and not sound (sound is poor), or both, or set it to start recording when it senses camera movement... a useful armoury of settings. You can connect by wi-fi to your phone too and see what the camera sees and access its controls and settings – very useful if it's attached to a helmet or something. This works very well for me. You can also transfer videos and photos to your phone this way. You can also connect to a remote shutter release (like on a selfie stick) with Bluetooth. For video, Veho recommends the 1080p60 (60 frames per second full HD), which gives good, sharp, smooth results. The f/2.5 lens means it not going to be too bad in low light or underwater. You can also record at 720p100 for super smooth or slow motion, and then there's the 4K10 setting... Hmm. Ten frames per second? That's poor. So this is a 4K video device in name only, so don't be misled. Ten frames is unacceptably jerky and awful. There's electronic image stabilisation though, which works 'quite' well but is no replacement for a gimbal. It records still photos at 12MP but stills look mediocre. Use your phone instead.I like the big, chunky plastic carry case with foam inserts so you can take all your accessories safely with you. And it comes with quite a few. The best is a crystal waterproof case good for 40m depth. There's also a slightly flimsy 'quick release' 'case' that like the waterproof case clicks into one of the included mounts; these have adhesive pads so aren't re-usable – once you've stuck them on something, that's it. And there are some small soft pads and an orange rubber thing that doesn't have any obvious purpose. What it lacks is a tripod mount, or any kind of temporary means of attaching the camera to things. You'll have to delve into the wonderful world of accessories for these! The obvious comparison you'll make is with the GoPro Hero series. GoPro costs a lot more actually but does 'proper' 4K60 video with really good image stabilisation and is waterproof without an extra case, though not to 40m.But this action cam takes fairly solid 1080p60 video and is cute and super tiny (even in its waterproof case) and easy to use. Wi-fi works well and the accessory case is a bonus. You pays your money and your takes your choice, as they say.

Veho Muvi KX-1 Action Camera
Do not buy this product under any circumstances - you will be 100% disappointed!I bought this item brand-new in July 2019 and from day one the battery life has been very poor. It was advertised as a 4k camera with battery life up to 2hrs. At 1080p it only ever managed 1hr 12mins at best from new. Currently today set at 720p it only manages 47 mins!I have contacted the Veho UK support team via email several times and also registered the issue on their website - their response has been poor throughout - one reply told me to alter the reduce the rate down, to improve the battery life - I told them it was already on the lowest setting at 720p, I got no response to that...Today June 16th 2020 I have again contacted the support team who have basically just told me 'sorry they cannot help further at this time'Pay the extra money and get a Go-Pro, Garmin or other make as this Veho camera is fiddly to use and has a battery that will disappoint.

Fun and easy to use action camera=-wqa-=awq
We have been using this action camera for a while and sharing it with the family. The children have really enjoyed using it to make films and recording action shot and videos whilst on holiday and at home. The camera is compact and quite straight forward to use, with the images easily saved to the SD card, which can then be edited or the movies shown on the TV screen. The camera comes with a sturdy and stylish and compact case and a protective waterproof case for the action camera itself.

Low frame rate 4K, but otherwise excellent camera
This action camera comes with an impressive hard carry case, big enough to carry the camera, all accessories and camera mounts. However, while it provides very good protection, it is a bit overkill. Action cameras are generally purchased to perform a particular purpose for a user and therefore would not normally require all accessories to be carried. No problem if it’s in the boot of a car but impractical in a backpack or such. The camera itself is a study little thing, measuring 5 x 4 x 2.5 cm and weighs in at just 69g. It uses a microSD class 3 card but this doesn’t come supplied with the camera. The camera is pitched as having a resolution of 4K. While this is true, it is only 4K at 10 fps, 2.7K at 15fps but produces better footage at 1440p and 1080p which have much better frame rates. 30fps and 60fps respectively. More suitable for capturing the “action”.It shoots stills photographs at a high resolution of 16mp but this can be reduced to 12mp or 8mp.A minor niggle for me is that the camera operation is not very intuitive. Strangely the power button doubles as video recording start with a dedicated stop button on the top of the camera. The instruction book is decent. Operation and settings are easy to understand. The free downloadable smartphone app worked great for me and enables control of the camera via wifi. Useful for operating a mounted camera where the buttons aren’t easily accessible. All-in-all I’m happy with this camera. It functions well and comparative to the big-name alternatives. Unless you particularly need or want a GoPro this camera will do as good a job for a much reduced cost.
