I've probably bought well over a hundred different types of aftershave and aftershave balm over the decades but this balm is truly top notch. I can't speak highly enough about it. I love the Cognac and Cuban Cigars scent. It's incredible. I also ordered the La Poire Française scented balm directly from their site and it's out of this world. I'm addicted to it. (Henri et Victoria, please make the La Poire Française balm available here on Amazon! I'll single handedly buy enough to make it worth your while.) I highly recommend this wonderful product.

This stuff is awesome. It smells great, refreshes your skin after a shave, and it not greasy on your face.

I have bought this one a few times. I am sensitive to strong scents, especially something I would apply right under my nose. This one is not too strong. After shaving with a safety razor, I often get some razor burn. This lotion calms the razor burn and helps to tone the skin without the burn of alcoholI really like this scent. It does smell like tobacco and the oakiness of a nice cognac

Very masculine, discreet, sophisticated smell, rare.I wish it last much more and was not so greasy.

I have some shaving soap that contains a scent of tobacco leaves and wood. Most of my aftershaves have a citrus scent which really doesn't work well with the soap. I ordered the Cognac and Cubans hoping it would match well with the shave soap. It does. The product works well as a balm, calming my skin after the outrage of having a razor dragged across it. It is not greasy and a little squirt will cover my whole face. The scent certainly works as well and is definitely strong. Not strong as in overpowering but strong as in long lasting. Most aftershaves fade after a few hours. If I shave first thing in the morning, most scents have departed by lunch time. The Cognac and Cubans scent remains well after I've finished work for the day and come home. This balm ended up being exactly what I was looking for.

This is a great after shave.A light lime smell that dissipates rather quickly..so not overwhelming.It leaves my face feeling smooth and clean.I also use their liquid aftershave.I splash a little on and HELLO with a tingle and aroma that leaves in a moment or 2.Stings a bit at first..makes you realize you are alive and ready for what ever comes at ya.And sometimes I even rub a little of the lime balm over it all.OK world here I come.It is a great product.I may try their other "flavors",but I really like the smell of lime.Enjoy.

This stuff goes on smooth and feels great. The smell is amazing and seems to last hours. As others have said, you only need to use a small amount. Has that cigar, smokey smell with sweet overtones, but isn't overpowering.

Doesn't smell as natural as other shaving soaps. Not much of Sandalwood scent. Not what I expected it to be. Leaves behind a slick and slightly residue.

Scent is stronger than i anticipated, but nice, feels great. I wish it also had UV protection. Label becomes sticky when your hands are wet, feels like adhesive that activates when wet. Pumps too much at one time, so when you compensate by using shallower pumps, the pump can freeze up if it doesn't make a full stroke. Pretty good quality.
