Perfect.
Now, I know what you're thinking. Will my muzzle device time correctly with these crush washers? Guess it depends on the muzzle device you choose. I used these to install a YHM 5C2 flash suppressor. Typically what you are looking for is that your muzzle device, when hand tightened, is about 1/4 of a turn away from where you want it in order to time the device properly. In my case, as is the case with many solid bottom flash suppressors, you want the solid side on the bottom. If you can't get the solid portion about 1/4 of a turn from the final torqued position (18-22 lb-ft), then you need to sand the crush washer in order to get it there. This is a common practice among many in the firearm (especially) AR-15 circles, and is accepted widely. Just because your muzzle device doesn't time properly without sanding doesn't mean the crush washer is defective. It simply means some fine tuning is in order. I take a piece of 220 grit sandpaper, and with the barrel side of the washer down, I apply pressure to the washer and sand it in a circular motion on the sand paper. Just start out lightly, and test fit. If it's not where you need it, then sand some more, and test fit again. Keep on repeating these two ever so simple steps until your muzzle device is about 1/4 of a turn from the final position when you hand tighten it. On new barrels, or barrels that have not had a muzzle device installed, it is suggested that you torque it in steps. First get it snugged a bit, and back it off, snug a bit and back it off, and then apply final torque to fully "crush" the washer in your timed position. Note: You don't need to reef it on there like a gorilla. Just get it within 18-22 lb-ft of torque. I would avoid lubricating the threads and you don't need loc-tite to do this. Additionally, the washer doesn't have to crush completely to be solid. The idea is for the washer to "crush" enough to get the proper torque and timing. If you have reached 18-22 lb-ft and you still have a tiny bit to go before the muzzle device is timed properly, then give it a little more. It's not an exact science here. Just don't overdo it like to the point you're putting on 30-50 lb-ft. The little pin that times the barrel to the receiver isn't that big. If you mess up, then well... you have 9 more washers to get it right, so don't be afraid to get in there and get it done. Overall rating for this product is 5 stars because with just a little bit of fine tuning, I was able to time my flash suppressor to my brand new barrel without a problem. Tip: when you remove metal, you're removing the finish of the washer. I used a little gun blue from my Birchwood Casey Presto Gun Blue Touch-Up Pen to protect the metal before installation. It doesn't have to be perfect; it just has to protect the metal so you don't get rust between your barrel and your crush washer.

Excellent crush washers - am back for more - great price
Recently added a few upgrades to my AR (1/2 x 28 threads) and decided to test and try a few different muzzle brake / compensator / flash hider configurations, so I knew that a few crush washer would be gone through.Spent a couple weeks getting to know the standard issue A2 birdcage, then tried out the FSI Competition compensator for a few weeks, then gave the Rainier XTC a go for a few weeks, then the SJC/Lund Titan and now a few non compensating flash hiders. With each of these a new UAG crush washer went on board, and there was no movement at all by any of the comps or flash hiders.Because I was not familiar with indexing and do not have the tools to judge proper torque levels, the gunsmith at our range removed and installed each piece of furniture for me and he noted that these seemed well made. The fit and finish of these crush washers is exactly what I had hoped for, and they do the job very well. My first purchase was a 10-pack and I am back for more now.Came back for more as am going to help a buddy do the same thing, plus want a few more for my range bag. This price is much better than I can get at the local gun shop (when they even have them in stock).Good product- highly recommended.

Crush washers
Yes you need a bunch, if you are already looking at this you are the type that likes to tinker and you will end up taking of your muzzle break/flash hider multiple times and should install a new crush washer each time, if not doesn't hurt to have extras in the extra parts box.

Buy extras!
Do yourself a favor and buy this pack of 10. The first washer that I tried to install broke because I didn't start my muzzle brake on the threads correctly, so I was glad that I had spares. These seem to be of good quality and did not warp during installation.

Great parts
Believe it or not,I can say something about a washer.!The finish on these are pristine,no dings or scratches ,slight bevel for your crush and looks like an OEM spec part to keep either your flash suppressor or more importantly your barrel from galling up.For the price and how many you get it's perfect for your parts stash.!

10 was too Many
This product is fantastic but 10 was the smallest quantity I could. I really only wanted 3 or 4. The good news is, the price for 10 rocks and now I have plenty...

Arrived quickly all 10 in bag
Ten washers in a bag - probably more than I will use in the next two years, but the price was better than them ripping you off one by one.

Works as advertised.
There isn't a whole lot to say about these other than they work exactly as they are supposed to. I use them on my S&W M&P when I change the flash hider. I think ten is the perfect number for the price. I'd rather get too many than too few.
