Good value, great bit of kit to have
This is a great product overall. four things let it down The voltage adjuster is quite course and theres no output off switch like many lab/bench Psu's have. The power probes supplied dont fit the terminals. Voltage and current adjusters dont have a lock ability accidental over voltage is a worry sometimes if you knock or catch the pots. Plus points. 10A output Reasonably clean output not perfect. Typical smpsu characteristics. Light and good size footprint on a valuble space workbench Runs reasonably cool Fan not overly noisy. Cost pretty good value for money.

Great Value and 30v and 10a
It does exactly as described. It saved me from buying 2 new flymo batteries (saving £140+), The charger was a smart one and as they dropped below a certain amount would not charge. 30-60 seconds gave the batteries the charge it needed and was recognised by the supplied smart charger. (please don't copy me, but it worked)

Great for powering tram wiring during diagnosis
Used this to power the wiring on a 1930s tram while attempting to diagnose how it was all wired. Very successful, as it shuts down successfully when there is a short.

Nice unit and working as intended but useless instructions
Well, initially I was going to leave a negative, 1 star review but... Eventually I persevered and stuck with the unit, fiddling about with the controls as best as I could figure out (not really worth referring to the manual, it's almost useless). The process was a bit hit-and-miss BUT eventually had the unit working as supposed, powering a surplus PC fan. I will attempt to explain at the end. The item was well packaged, compact and a nice looking unit. Process: While unit is OFF and +/- leads attached, turn VOLTAGE to MAX and CURRENT to MIN. Then create a short with the leads (nothing should happen). Turn unit ON - Turn CURRENT to MAX - adjust Voltage to required setting. Current will automatically adjust This is the process I used. Prior to this the voltage dial wouldn't set and fluctuated wildly from 0-20 V (with no between adjustment) leading me to initially think the unit was faulty.
