Camille Beckman Body Butter, Morelia Monarch, 5.25 Ounce

I received a fairly generous sample of this product (the Morelia Monarch scent) in a subscription box but I will say at the outset that I would probably not purchase a full-sized version because the fragrance is just too strong. Also, while I was putting this on my legs, I got some in a paper cut on my hand and it actually burned a little. So if you have sensitive skin, I would avoid this product.It does have some benefits, and if you prefer strong fragrances and/or don't have sensitive skin, read on.This product is white, but there is an artificial color listed in the ingredients (see below). I'm guessing there's not a lot of this color additive in the product, though. It's thicker than your average lotion (say, Lubriderm or Jergens) but thinner than some other body butters I've tried (say, Shea Terra). It *is* fairly moisturizing. And the smell isn't unpleasant, just very strong. There do not appear to be any animal-based ingredients (the glycerin is from a vegan/vegetarian source).Ingredients: Water (Aqua), Shea Butter, Cetyl Alcohol, Stearic Acid, Glycerin, Sweet Almond Oil, Aloe Barbadensis Leaf Juice, Tocopherol (Vitamin E), Beeswax, Mallow Extract, Ivy Extract, Cucumber Fruit Extract, Elder Flower Extract, Arnica Montana Flower Extract, Pellitory Extract, Triethanolamine, Dimethicone, Diazolidinyl Urea, Methylparaben, Propylparaben, Calcium Disodium EDTA, BHT, Fragrance (Parfum), Orange 4(CI 15510).If you want a strong fragrance in your body moisturizer or want to layer this with other Camille Beckman products with the same scent (they have shower gels, bar soaps, hand creams, and so on), this product might be for you. But if you have sensitive skin or don't like a lot of fragrance, you should probably avoid this. It's not right for me, but it could be a good choice for some people.

smells great and leaves you hands feeling silky smooth. The tub is a fairly good size as well.

Their posted ingredient list leaves out at least 20 ingredients, including two different parabens and artificial dyes. If I'd known there were parabens in this I wouldn't have ordered it. Parabens have been found in the majority if not all of breast cancer tumors, while this doesn't prove causation it's not a chance I am willing to take. The description makes it sound like a natural product, but it is far from it. I don't recommend you purchase this.

Awesome

Very thick and moisturizing. The scent is a musky/beachy/coconut scent. Light not over powering. And I love that it is a natural line with no harsh chemicals.

This is amazing for your whole body. I have terribly dry skin and this does the trick. I even have extremely dry eye lids and nothing until I tried this worked. Well worth the price. The hand therapy is also great.
