Great for cooking in the oven or microwave.I love the clear glass to see food when storedin the refrigerator.

Nice dish with a lid but the bowl portion is probably less than 20 oz rather than the stated 24
We have a couple a couple of other sizes of this Simax dish and we really like them. This one will serve some of our needs but I was buying it to replace a 20 oz Anchor Hocking that's seen better days. We used the old dish to heat up a can of soup from time to time and it worked perfect for that. This one barely holds an 18.5 oz can of soup and bubbles over while heating. It might be 24 oz if you include the lid but the bowl portion is nowhere close to 24 oz.

Great but this one was too small
I am trying to rid my kitchen of all things plastic, especially those which are used to heat foods. I happened on this item and thought it would be great for my can of Progresso soup which I have for lunch. Alas, it is too small, especially if the soup boils over. BUT, I will simply order a series of larger sizes because in all other ways this is a superior product. The glass is thick and durable (unlike the glass of a tea pot I ordered last year which was made in China and so thin and fragile that it cracked after 2 uses). This is substantial.. The lid is excellent and cool when removed. It washes easily and I have no problem both cooking in it and eating out of it.

Awesome for steaming meats and vege in a microwave!
I don't like steaming food in plastic, so I bought this and it works wonders! I use the small one for a single portion of vege for my steak/chops, drain the small bit of water and butter it up. I also have a larger one to cook freezer meals of meat & vege. 5 minutes on high with the lid on, and everything comes out defrosted, hot, and ready to eat!

These are great
I have many bakeware that I never seem to use because they are all large, and many don't have lids. Way back when, I used to host family holiday meals, and the large sizes worked.Now that everyone is scattered all over the country, it's just the two of us. We needed little dishes with lids, and I saw these and liked them.They work perfectly, and I've given away 75% of my other bakeware to nieces and siblings.

A nice dish, but much smaller than I thought it would be. I'll keep it for single serving items, but need to order a larger one for mashed potatoes 🥔.
