Most comfortable wrap for my dog
This wrap seems to be the most comfortable for my 55 pound australian shepherd with loss of bladder control due to a spinal cord injury. He has a narrow waist but a large rib cage; this wrap is just the right width to fit his waist perfectly (he wears an XL). It leaves no redness on his skin like other wrap's elastic bands do. I gave it one star for absorbency because it has no built in pad, you have to purchase pads separately. The wrap has a mesh pocket to insert the pads into but I put the pad (with a sticky backing) on top of that as I don't want urine soaked mesh next to his skin; I think the mesh pad is a waste of material. This is a great wrap for daytime, I don't recommend for nighttime as one pad all night would definitely leak. The fabric is very soft and the patterns and colors are very cute too.

Belly Band Male Dogs
Even though I measured my male dog prior to ordering, this product is a bit too snug on him. Wish I would have ordered a larger size! Also, I did not realize that I had to add some type of absorbing pad to this order. Ugh, missing that piece makes this a useless band.

Tried everything else...
My senior dog has chronic leaking due to nerve degeneration. The Simple Solutions disposable wraps were working great except that the elasticized edge was causing groin irritation. I tried several of the washable wraps but they were so baggy that lining them with a sanitary napkin wasn't sufficient. I found the Alfie Pet washable wraps and they are perfect for my dog. The soft fabric has a little give, allowing for a snug fit, but there is no elastic to cause irritation. I use a maxi pad with wings to line the wrap and there is no leakage for several hours. I still use the SS disposable for overnight because he is a 50lb dog so there's a lot of leakage in 8 hours. But during the day when I am taking him out every few hours, the Alfie Pet wrap is awesome. I hand wash/hang dry but you could machine wash/dry. But doing them by hand keeps them from pilling or losing their shape. Great product.

comfortable for the dog
Used with an 18 pound dog. Used human baby diapers size "1" for daytime when diaper was changed every few hours and size "3" for overnight. Band held the diaper snugly, comfortable for the dog. Best to hand wash this item as the Velcro hooks tend to get caught in the mesh center area (an unnecessary feature IMO) and pulling the Velcro hooks free of the central mesh can unbend the hooks so they no longer assist in holding the Velcro firmly together. When it was needed again quickly, we dried it easily using a stationary shelf in the dryer (these shelves are removeable and are intended for shoes or other bulky items don't tumble dry easily). No elastic around the front or back of this item to help catch "leaks" so best to use an absofbent item like a human baby diaper since they are designed to not leak once urine has entered the absorbent layer. The urine becomes almost a gel inside the diaper. You don't get that sort of "retention" of urine from other absorbent materials. This was my first use of disposable human baby diapers in nearly 40 years... they have changed a lot in how well the capture and hold urine without leaks. They are also FAR cheaper than absorbent products designed for dogs. The "1" and "3" human baby diapers are too short to wrap around the body of the 18-pound dog... but this band does a great job of holding the diaper snug to the dog's body.

These Are Perfect!
Funny story - After purchasing this product, I happened to be in the den on the computer and glanced into the living room just in time to see my 'problem' dog heist his leg on the sofa table, then sniff the area. Apparently he couldn't find the scent (thanks to the belly band) and so heisted his leg again. Again he sniffed, and there was nothing. Undaunted, he then turned around to face the other direction and, lifting the other leg, tried again... THWARTED! Thank you, Gaki Belly Band!About our purchase - We recently took in a male rescue dog that had been well house-trained and is an absolute joy to have! That said, our other male dog decided he needed to make sure it was well known who the 'boss' is, so started marking everything in the house. He'd never been a problem before, but we were finding his "mark" everywhere! I had purchased a different brand of belly band from one of the pet superstores but it was so stiff my dog didn't want to walk at all, and that's what led me to my search for something better and the discovery of the Gaki Belly Band! And they're perfect! They're soft, adjustable, comfortable, machine washable... and they make it so my dog can stay in the house. I went to the store and bought a bag of the storebrand small incontinence pads and put them inside the belly band using the adhesive tape on the pad and the elastic bands on the belly band. They never come out!

Nice Quality Belly Bands
I am really happy with the Alfie Gaki Belly Bands. They are super soft, and the velco closure is very secure. There is a small pocket made of mesh in the diaper where you can insert a pad, but it's not very big. I line the belly band with an incontinence pad and it works really well. These are also very reasonably priced, especially for the quality. I would definitely recommend them.

Well made and not too bulky
These wraps are well-made. I have a 3 year old dog that likes to mark furniture (an elderly male dog taught him how to do this!) and the wraps stop the behavior. I had tried other brands but their huge bulk made them difficult to wash and dry thoroughly. The Gaki brand comes clean with one wash and regular detergent. A little white vinegar in the rinse neutralizes any urine smell. The wraps dry completely in one cycle of the dryer and they've held up well after four months of use.

It’s about time
Our dog has spina bifida and has to be diapered since being a puppy. I have ordered, I think almost every diaper available. He (my dog) is stocky, but short, Frenchie. When I ordered the size to wrap around his waste, it would go up to his chest, like a full body suit. These are perfect. Thinner, AND hold a pad which he needs. Finally, finally. I just ordered 6 more multi packs…… finally someone that thinks about the dog AND functionality.

Fabric stretches with use
These are cute, length matched chart, stay on well but not as wide as would be helpful. They got loose as the weave fabric stretches enough to allow some leaks. If the pup is incontinent there is too much liquid for these to be very effective.

Good belly band to prevent mating but not good for holding urine
This is exactly what I’m looking for. I like this design because it doesn’t have the elastics on both sides, which puts pressure on their belly. But I’m using this to prevent my male dog to mate with my girl and he doesn’t pee in the diaper so this more comfy for him, but if your intentions is to prevent marking then the pee will most likely spill out from the sides.

XS is not small enough for my chi’s
Unfortunately extra small isn’t extra small enough for my chi’s.Even though they measured at 7-9 inches. They have such tiny little waists. I’m sure it would work for a larger dog, just not mine.Good quality.

Soft and well fitting
Very soft and fits well. Lots of Velcro to fasten or tighten. There is a small pocket inside to put a pad into. Comes without side elastics which is more comfortable for the dog. Good quality.

Does not work
Does not contain the male pee. Too bad, well made but does not work. Miniature Poodle.
