I bought the Pride Of India - Himalayan Black Rock Salt - Fine Grind, (4.8 oz) - Kala Namak, Contains 84+ Minerals, Perfect for Cooking, Tofu Scramble.It totally tastes like eggs. I'll be trying it tomorrow in a tofu scramble.

For some reason when I bought this I thought it had a grinder top to make it easier to grind the small seeds without grabbing my mortar and pestle. This absence was a bit of a letdown, given the convenience a grinder offers.Despite this initial hiccup, I was pleased to find the seeds themselves are of high quality - fresh and ready to imbue my dishes with their potent taste. The packaging deserves a shoutout too; the glass jar is not only aesthetically pleasing but practical, effectively preserving the seeds' freshness. It's a significant plus, as glass is superior to plastic for storing spices, both in terms of sustainability and flavor preservation.

Definitely a great seasoning for tofu scramble! It magically transformed the tofu into egg. Don’t be alarmed when you twist off the lid - it will have a sulphuric smell. It’s supposed to smell like that way as it was “mined” near volcanoes. That quality is the magic that makes the tofu “eggy.” Great for vegan cooking.
