Autoclavable and Breathable Cordyceps Cultivation Containers, pack of 6

I bought these because they were smaller and would fit in my instapot for sterilization. I have to say, I am very impressed. The only downside is the thread on the lids is very wide which can cause you to misthread. Other than that, these are great! So far, I have not seen any increase in contamination and the jars give great gas exchange. The grains I have used seem to colonize much faster in these than in the normal jars. I plan on ordering more soon.

The item is perfect for careful germination processes with delicate and rare seeds. Great item for keeping tiny insects and fungii out of sterilized growing media for plant seeds and tissues.

Pretty reliable, affordable and durable containers, lids might be a little bit squeaky while opening and gives the impression they do not fit appropriately given that the screw is longer, so far it's a minimal objection to its design.

I wouldn't waste your money

They work great. Lids fit fine, disregard the 1 negative review. I’m new to TC and don’t like using tubes. These vessels are perfect for what I’m wanting to do.

As soon as I got these I cooked them in a pressure cooker for 2 hours on maximum settings to ensure it was good quality. Works just as intended, no warping. though please note let the autoclave cool down first because the container has a hard time completely sealing at such high temps.Edit: I found plastic flakes in the cup, going to run another cycle to verify this isn't a one off. If it keeps shedding this is an issue.I posted an image of a room temp container holding in water. The seal can be improved by adding a few more screw turns but that is the only issue. Good alternative to mason jars if you are afraid of shattering
