Love these so much! These are the best running shorts I've purchased yet. So far I've run 4 miles in humid weather, as well as a longer distance of 10 miles, and the pockets were a lifesaver for my phone, gels, and could even fit a small slim water bottle. Phone didn't budge or slide out at all. They are not as flattering as the picture (is anything?!), but they are so comfortable and extremely functional. I'm 140lbs 5'6 & the mediums were perfect size for me. Word to the wise: I highly recommend getting the black shorts, instead of the blue colored ones… The blue definitely shows sweat marks! Also, there is an elastic band on the top & it doesn't have a lot of give. I thought the top would be more like a yoga pant top with a thick waist band… That isn't the case in these. Size up if you want to avoid muffin top. The length is perfect- not too short, not too long. The leg bands aren't too tight either. Buying another pair ASAP in black!

Updated: The customer service for this brand is outstanding. In response to my original review, they contacted me to request feedback about the shorts and what I thought should change. It seems as though they are not just listening to our feedback but actually doing something about it, and quickly.The company sent me another pair in a larger size so that I can test the difference. I normally wear a medium, so I will maintain that I think the sizing is a little small and you should order up. The Large was much more comfortable. I wore them for a run in the Texas heat last night and I was comfortable the whole time. The pockets were great, my phone didn't bounce around at all. The shorts didn't soak in and hold the heat, and thanks to the more conservative length, no chafing!Original: Only 10% elastic in the waist band, and that's a bummer. The waist band rolls almost immediately, but the pockets are deep enough for my phone and the shorts passed the squat test. I think they run a little bit small and would suggest ordering a size up.

I bought these as an option to the $60+ running shorts available from my favorite active wear retailers. So far, I've liked these the best for running. The 3 pockets are handy for carrying my phone and keys on a run. The material is slick style and lightweight but doesn't show through the fabric. I have them in blue and black. I did find that they won't work for spin class for me, as they ride up my thighs when I sprint on the bike hence the 4 stars. But they stay in place for running. So they are strictly running shorts for me. I'm an apple shape at 160 and 5'4" and the Large fit perfect on me.

Within hours of my posting of my review I was contacted by the seller and offered two pairs of free replacement shorts in the correct length to make up for my inconvenience. I do not have to return the incorrect shorts I already received (and already wore). This is amazing and shows how important the customer experience is to this seller. They fit great, seem to be of high quality and the pocket is really convenient. Unfortunately they sent me the wrong length. I ordered the 10" inseam and selected same-day delivery because I needed them that day. I was so exited when I got them in plenty of time to do my workout that day but I was very disappointed to see that they sent me the 7" instead of the 10". Such a bummer! I decided to keep them as they'll still work and I really needed them - they're just shorter than I'm used to so I'll have to adjust. I'll probably be back to buy them again - I like them that much - but they'll go back if they send me the wrong inseam length again. I'm taking a star away from these shorts for this reason only - otherwise this would be a 5-star product!

I needed to get some running shorts fast - I had forgotten to pack them on my family's vacation to the beach and I wanted to make sure I could get my half marathon training in. These shorts were fine for the purpose required. The pockets are spacious and fit phone, keys, whatever you need. The material is not high quality sports fabric - there's a roughness to it that I didn't like, and for me the shorts are a little on the long side. The crotch gusset was also in the wrong position for my body, which could make for some awkward chafing issues on a really long run. The price is right, however. These shorts will probably will become my 'emergency' running shorts and sit in the drawer until I've really let the laundry go too far.

This is my 2nd pair . I bought my first pair in 2017 and I still wear them! I have 2 sets of everything and I needed a second pair to keep in my car...you never know when you may want to go for a run! The following review is my original from a few years ago. These shorts have held up nicely! I highly recommend! ** review from my original pair ***I read all the reviews and was worried that the small would be too large from what some people were saying. I decided to check what the sellers size chart had to say. Thank goodness I did, otherwise I would have ordered an extra small and I would be returning them.I am 5'4&; and weigh 106lbs. These fit perfectly. Not too tight, and not too loose. They are not see through. The seams are stitched very well and the waist band is nice and wide, it has an elastic draw string for tightening. The little pocket in the waistband is as deep as the band and pretty wide. For those of you unsure of what size to choose check out the size chart. I'm glad that I did. I'll be using these for a 5k. I like the side pockets, although all I'll be putting in one is my key fob for my car. I am very happy with my purchase.

these shorts are great, good quality etc. they were super tight like a compression short. really tight in waist. they fit my daughter so no big deal. I would go 1 size up for sure. i am 5'10" 175lbs and ordered a lrg - i should have got an XL easy.

These shorts are one of my best purchases in recent history. I'm a runner and I hate having no pockets for keys or my phone. Having to carry my phone in hand or wear an armband is incredibly annoying as I can never find any that fit my arm (I'm very petite)! These shorts are perfect! I was worried that my phone would bounce out but they are very secure and incredibly comfortable. They are my go to running gear and I've just ordered a second pair to use while the others are in the wash. My only criticism is that there aren't enough different colours to mix up the styles. Good quality make and fabric, they're very durable. Very good buy for road and trail runners who need their arms free!

I wish some of the major sports brands would take an example on these shorts: nice material, good length and the pockets! Finally I can carry gels, key, phone etc on my long runs without a fiddly belt. Oh yes, also totally chaff free, highly recommend.

I love these shorts. Pocket as advertised held my iPhone 7 plus and more.
