Am I right in understanding its a standard size bottle in a long cover?

No of course not, how could it be it wouldn’t fit the cover. It is a long thin hot water bottle that fits the cover.

How do you tie this to yourself? Velcro or ribbon? How secure is it?

Hi Rachel. Excellent question. Apart from the Warm Worms and the Cashmere Collection all our products come with a drawstring design, enabling you to tie it around your shoulders, tummy etc and pinpoint those painful spots. If you type YuYu Bottle into YouTube you will also be able to view a video showing you exactly how to use your YuYu Bottle.

Does this contain latex?

The bottle is made from dry natural rubber. We do not use synthetic latex. That said, it is possible that some people with latex allergies may also be allergic to rubber so we would recommend consulting a medical professional familiar with your allergy, or if you know that other natural rubber hot water bottles do not affect you then it's unlikely our products would affect you either. Of course all hot water bottles are best used with a cover also, so this would also help to limit your contact with the rubber.
