Sounds of Nature: World of Forests: Press Each Note to Hear Animal Sounds

My granddaughters love these books. They have all of them and easily recognize sounds and classical music because of them. This book is a wonderful compilation of animal sounds that we love to listen to. Our just turned two year old loves guessing the animal over and over again.

The pictures and added sound make this a wonderful read!!Highly recommend it!

yes, it does take an adult to press the buttons, but the amount of information and the images and sounds- my two year old adores all three books in this series. I would buy more if they had a bigger collection. What's more, I bought a copy of the birds book in this series for a classmate and she adores it too.

Like "World of Birds" and "World of Oceans," this book is an excellent addition to any child's library....save for one reason. I'm not sure who the illustrator is, but apparently they don't know what bobcats and lynxes look like. Neither of them have long tails, and are rather quite famous for their short tails. Bobcats even have a rather obvious and on-the-nose name, due to their bobbed tails! I wish that the author and illustrator had just done some very basic research on what these animals look like before putting the book out to be published.

Love the size of the book and the colors pop ! Only downer is I wish there was a volume up and down it kind of hard to hear especially when the sound comes from the back of the book!

This book is beautiful. One thing I wish they did differently though was to make it easier for little hands to be able to press down on tabs for sound.

The pictures in the book are beautiful. My issue is the sounds are so quick and they cover all the animals on a page in one button so it’s hard to pinpoint which animal makes which sound. And the buttons are very hard to push, so my kids have gotten frustrated at that. Also, the battery dies after just a few uses. So if you’re buying these for the sounds, I’d look elsewhere.

Beautiful well made and illustrated books. The sounds of the animals are easily heard. Bought for my granddaughter for Christmas I know she will love them.

Lovely book, but obvious it’s been used. Tab has been pulled out of battery, sticker is worn from touching, and the back is bashed. Not so happy about that.But the book itself is really cool
