Is koyah - organic usa grown beet powder certified gluten free by a third party?

I don’t know. But there is no reason for it to contain gluten unless manufactured in a facility that has cross-contaminated it. It’s my favorite beet powder product.

Does this powder contain the whole beet including leaves and stems

Look at the list of product ingredients. The label clearly indicates none of the greens are processed into the powder.

High in sodium

Good taste and dissolves nicely. But after noticing it has 115 mg of sodium (where other brands either have 0, 5 or 10 mg), I wont be purchasing again. I originally ordered because after some research, I discovered it is one of the lowest in lead content. Remember, beets are a root plant (like carrots etc).

Beet Powder best by date

Received the Beet powder with a best by date of 09/28/23. This is unacceptable but I cannot return it or get a replacement?Would like to update this review, KOYAH contacted me and apologized because they inadvertently labeled the best by date, same as the processing date. The correct best by date is 09/20/25.

No longer good

Previously it used to be great . Recently the appearance is changed to a bigger box , but the flavor is changed much . It used to seem natural , but recently seems non-natural . The color and the taste are changed too .

Very Earthy Taste

I don’t think I’ve ever tried beets before this, so I was very surprised at how earthy it tasted. Keep in mind I dump a scoop in my mouth and swig it down with water. Not a bad taste, but might be better in soups, shake, etc.. I plan on buying it again in the future. Thanks for the awesome quality of this product!
