Patch Panel
The patch panel is fairly straight forward for anyone that has ever installed any networking before. The 110 block backs work perfectly well with a standard punch down tool and the wiring is easy enough to route through the provided guide slots. In my case, I, at the time, only needed around 5 ports, but I opted for the 24 port model over the 12 port, because I knew the building I was installing this in would eventually be moving into the 15-20 port range thus allowing myself some extra slots already available for when that occurred.I would suggest that if you are going to use any other patch panels in the Leviton box to get at least the medium sized box, because the small box would not truly allow for much room left over for anything except this panel, as it easily takes up one whole side of the box.

A great patch panel for home/small office
This patch panel is simply another great Leviton product. I've used structured wiring products from several different manufacturers, and I have to say that Leviton's is about the most well thought out of the product lines. This patch panel, much like the rest of their stuff, is all Far East plastic - but Leviton's seems more well built than most. The legs that hold it in your wiring cabinet are thick and the holes that hold the pegs are substantially thick - no pulling apart when mounting this thing! Also, a nice usability feature that this Leviton panel has, is little hooks on the front side - when you're punching down your cables, you simply spin the thing around and HOOK it into the peg-holes in your cabinet - this locks the panel in place and give you a nice firm surface to punch against - when you're done, simply spin it around and push your pins in - ready to go!The last feature that made this my choice, was the number of ports (24) and the fact that you could mix/match the types (not ALL cat6 or cat5e) - I was fairly specific about what cable speeds I was installing at various locations (based on the device going at each outlet), so I saved a little money by only dedicating (and paying for) cat6 where I really needed it.Overall - a GREAT product - easy to use, sturdy, and latest mainstream technology. Definitely recommend this for small patch jobs!

Fits & worksw well
easy to punch down (I used type B), fits well, works well, nice little slots for wires coming in either top or bottom (no side option).Pros:Fits nicely into SMC no issues (can do two side by side if you have the large SMC)Clean lookingClean wire management (top or bottom)Con:Price is a bit higher for 24 port patch

Only drawback is high cost
Used one of these in my home network cabinet. Everything works well and easily passed the CAT 6 testing. The only negative is the high cost. In my second network cabinet a used different vendor CAT 6 patch panels which required modifications to the Leviton cabinet, took up more space and do not make as neat of an installation. However the total cost was about 1/8 of the Leviton patch panels for the same number ports.

Great piece to put in your media hub.
My media hub is in my closet and when i has the house built I had 8 network cables ran for my outside cameras and have 9 rooms with networkCables ran. I got this and attached everything with ease. Took me less than an hour to punch all the wires for the 17 pre ran network cables. The cheat sheet let’s u run either 568A or flip it over and punch in for 568B. Remember whatever u punch here you need to wire the RJ45 the same so the cables work right. Once those two ends are ran the same you don’t have to worry about whatever cables are plugged into it. Have had no issues with this and get gigabit speeds throughout the house.

The modules has a weak spot on the ends pins that causes to brake.
The end pins on the modules are thinner that the ones in the middle and it broke after one punch.

Must have for a structured media box.
I had a box installed during construction of our house 15 years ago. The before was years of the rats nest and poor cable management. The 476TM is a huge improvement for routing and cable management. Took me a bit to remember my termination skills. But in total it only took me an hour to complete.
