Chicken/Salmon Nuggets…My aging, picky cat took one sniff and gobbled this up - but with one caveat:…She wants nothing to do with any form of wet food. Nothing at all.So I called the company and a delightful customer support person told me as long as she (definitely) I see her drink water after, however she chooses to eat it is fine.Great!Plan #1: Then she loved ripping into a whole nugget and chomping it a bite at a time - all over the kitchen floor’s immediate area.😡hmmm…Plan #2: Fortunately i have a heavy, short beautifully formed & kiln fired Barcelona mug/cup with a flat bottom.So I put 6-8 nuggets in a sturdy zip-lock qt.sized baggy. I pound the nuggets into about a 5-6 day supply. Victory! And…after each meal she immediately drinks water.Challenge resolved for a day…Until she like her this approach so much she ate too fast, drank a bunch of water, walked into the living room from the kitchen and barfed it ALL up - undigested - on the hardwood floor. 😡 onto to Plan #3.Plan #3 = which has now been working all of July. Primal Nuggets are too expensive to eat the daily amount she would like at this price plus this is a healthy, aging cat, not a cat to let get overweight. I am home-based so doing the pandemic, at least, she gets 1 tablespoon (a coffee measure, actually) of crushed Nugget & a separate serving of Nulo small, small kibble for cats which she has proven she can keep down - 3x a day. 2 separate tiny bowls, btw, as she wants NO mixing of nuggets/kibble.She wants more volume of either/each usually but that’s all her system can handle without the barfing.Once her mobile vet is again making house calls - as this cats hates pet carriers even more than wet food!…I will get her digestion checked.So far all vet strategies have failed for fast- gobbling cats. …So have the slowdown mats & bowls.But this combo of daily food as long as I have the time, is working for this otherwise delightful, gorgeous, jnteresting but hyper-picky cat.This is also a totally silent cat other than for purring mightily - other than when she is super hungry. Then she comes and finds me and talks, talks, talks.PS: she’s only wild about the Primal Chicken/Salmon Nuggets, btw. I cannot speak for the other “flavors.”

My cat, Mr Weasely is almost 16 and has been pretty healthy until the last year or so. He's been recently diagnosed with Hyperthyroid and has experienced muscle wasting, which is my reason for switching to this food; more protein. He has always been a kibble addict and I struggled to try to get him on a home made diet for a long time. He LOVES this specific flavor and now never wants kibble. It is difficult to break up, but as some have mentioned warmer or hot water is key.

My baby snow leopard jumped up on the counter, stole one of these and started munching down. He LOVES it! His prior mommy gave him the frozen version and he liked it alright, but I just could not handle the preparation and thaw process. I take one of these, squeeze it in my hand so that it breaks down, add some warm water, a small can of Fancy Feast and a scoop of pumpkin and both Sterling and his cousin Mischief love it.

My 6 year old cat LOVES this food! I switched her over from generic dry food. Since then she has had more energy, more personality, and she has even torn open one of the bags of food because I apparently wasn't giving her enough. lol

I love Primal as a high quality food and company for my pets. The only reason on I give 4 stars is because they are kinda hard, but I found warmer water is the trick to make them easier to cut.

My cat prefers this food dry. The salmon and chicken are his favorite. He also loves the turkey.

I purchase this food from Amazon often and have had no problems with quality or freshness.

My cat seems to like it. I bought it also because during the pandemic I wanted raw reserve food as my cat does not like dead processed canned/dry food
