Eye Cracker

I have been really impressed with Koffee Kult's bean quality over the past year. My household has been working our way around their variety of roasts. We saw that Eye Cracker is a new product listed on Amazon. It did not disappoint. We like really strong coffee with a smooth taste. There has been a trend lately for roasters to push floral and fruity coffee in my local area. This makes it hard to find coffee that lets the beans stand for themselves. Koffee Kult Eye Cracker is stays the course and presents and excellent cup.

Koffee Kult espresso makes an espresso shot which is noticeably not as thick as I would prefer it. The crema is what I would call fair. However, you have to understand that you are paying for beans on Amazon which do not have an official "Roasted On" date. I am assuming that the beans are a little stale for as truly great espresso shot but, for what you are buying this will make a great cup of coffee. I have made some phenomenal latte's all things considered with these beans. Also, they are relatively inexpensive and do give the caffeine boost I desperately need. Now while these espresso beans may not be perfect, it is important to recognize that it is great for a lot of applications. I do not always need to use my "locally, small-roasted, magic fairy dust, three times as expensive" beans. Sometimes, a bean that makes a pretty-darn-good cup of coffee makes more sense to use than the perfect cup of coffee. In summation, these are beans you cannot go wrong with for what you are paying for. ***Also, I have only used these to make espresso, I cannot attest to how they perform for french press, fauxspresso (Aeropress), or any other method of making coffee.

Oh this stuff is sooo good, they're like little blond beans, begging to be ground up into a fine powder and mixed with 198 degree water to provide me with the smoothest, most interesting tasting espresso I've ever skwoze through my coffee skweezer. Aero press, ok?

This is now my favorite bean for a cappuccino (it mellows with steamed milk) with the Dark Roast (smoother) a slightly preferred for pure expresso. The flavor is exactly as advertised; bright and bold.

This stuff (Koffee Kult Eye Cracker Espresso) is fine but for the pretty hefty price ($22 for 12oz) we were pretty disappointed. Aroma on the beans opening the bags was great, but once brewed the flavor is ok on the back palate but mostly it’s pretty flat. The crema is minimal and dissipates very quickly. We like to add some higher-end variety into rotation with our mostly daily goto of Lavazza (Grand Crema or Super Crema) but this will not be going into that rotation. (For reference this was brewed in a DeLonghi Magnifica full-automatic.)

I love this company! I have bought many of their products & they are all fresh and delicious. The espresso beans are wonderful for Vietnamese coffee, & they even sent a guide on how to brew in multiple systems, including the Moka Pot (which I was going to use). Thank you for treating your customers well & having consistently wonderful products!

For the type of coffee this is supposed to be . It doesn't have any real coffee flavor. Taste bland just like most of the others. I was hoping it would taste like a Sumatra . But it's just average

Delicious, but not as dark roast as expected for espresso. Still it's a very smooth cup of coffee.
