Sturdy materials, good performance
Great reel for the price, pleasant feel, smooth casting. Durable materials. I purchased this reel because my (expensive) orvis reel was made with a plastic handle. After disassembling on a wintry day, I dropped the reel from a few feet off the ground and the handle snapped right off. I was displeased to find there was no metal support within the handle, just cheap plastic. I am quite positive this reel would hold up from such a drop. Great find for the price point!

Cheaply made and malfunctions
When I first received this reel, I was pretty happy with it. I use it on my 3wt to fish small creeks in Colorado. It seemed well put together and the reel was very light.I have used the reel for about a year now, very minimal use and I first had problems with the reel knob coming loose. That was an easy fix with a screw driver.Recently, the reel started to get stuck while bringing like in. At first I thought maybe the line was bunched up but it looks like the internal mechanical components are malfunctioning. I even took all the line off and cleaned the components. In summary, good reel, light and great drag when you first use it but it is not made well and fails in the end.About Me: Avid fly fisherman with multiple rods and reels. I have used everything from Orvis to Ross, Sage, and Wetfly. You name it I have tried it.

Great Little Reel
Quite a good reel. Much better than expected for the sub hundred dollar price. I'm using the 3-4 weight and it balances my 3 wt echo fly rod perfectly. Could only get about 50 yards of 20lb Dacron to fit with a WF3F line, but that's OK. Drag is smooth and easy to set.

it holds the line fine..
It's light, it holds the line fine... and it feels good. I can't ask for more in a inexpensive fly reel. I'd put it up there with a $250 Orvis. Just my thoughts but then again I'm not a snob when it comes to equipment. I prefer that why I buy gets the job done, not how good I look doing it.

Solid performer.
For the price I can find no fault with this reel. I have spent many times this amount for reels that perform no better. Would definately recommend to other fly fishers for freshwater use.

Great product, with no issues so far
I've been fishing this reel for a few months now. I haven't had a single issue with it. Living in Colorado, I have caught some small trout as well as large suckers/carp on this reel.
