Perfect!
We were in a Fix until this Perfect Tool. We put it to the Test on some Rusted Nuts and it came through like a Champ!! Glad I didn't listen to the Negative reviews!!

Perfect. As described
The media could not be loaded. No the socket doesn’t go all the way through, but it does allow for the bolt, or threaded rod go all the way through. See video

Great Socket When Needed
This socket is necessary for my work. I work on heavy trucks where this socket is required to replace damaged fuel tanks. Big name tool vendors want $100 for their version!

Nice addition to my socket set
Seems a bit thin but definitely doing the job for now

Works As Intended
Sure beats using a wrench to cage brake chambers. However, the socket is a bit different in design than the picture in the description, as other reviewers have also noted, so something has changed.I rarely cage brakes and feel this socket will hold up for a long time with my limited use. Works as intended with a ratchet, but I would be leery about continuous impact usage. Caged the brakes on my truck when it wouldn't start and still looks brand new. I would not hesitate to buy this to keep in your toolbox if you have an air brake truck, but would look elsewhere if you are a brake tech and fond of your impact.

Decent
Does the job but wear shows quickly and easily.Socket is beginning to round a bit internally

Great for removing shower valves
The length of this socket makes it perfect for removing the parts of the shower handles and valve assembly in order to access the sets and washer. Made replacing them WAY easier. Highly reccomend.

Picture and descriptions need updated, as the socket design obviously changed when production went to China
After reading several reviews, it was difficult to figure out if this socket still has the 7/8 hex on the end as the picture shows. I can confirm that the one I received on 12/12/17 does not. It looks as if when Lisle moved production of this tool from the USA (as it states on the package) to China (as it is marked on the socket, then changed several of the specifications. First, the socket now has an overall length of 6 1/8". The outer diameter is almost exactly 1". The 3/4" broached depth for the cage nut is a little over 1". The internal depth for the screw of the cage bolt is 5". The drive end of the socket now has two holes for either a ball or pin type retainer. How well will it hold up? Time will tell I guess. It may not be as described, and I don't think that it is an intentional deception from Lisle, but rather whoever decided to make the design changes likely doesn't communicate with whoever does the packaging or writes up the tool descriptions for reseller use. I'm still satisfied enough with it that I am not going to return it. As a professional wrench for over 30 years, I have purchased more specialty items from Lisle than I want to think about, and it is extremely rare that I have been disappointed.

Little to long for some applications.
Should be 1" shorter due to some brake chamber locations.

It came well on time
I don't dislike but I don't like the thin end of it, so for back up will purchase the Sunex socket set model to this one

Awesome
These sell at the tool trucks for a lot more and honeslty this one is the same quality. I've used it multiple times. Would recommend

Pretty poor quality for a Lisle tool.
Honestly pretty dissatisfied with what I received. The socket itself doesn’t even have any markings on it to prove that it’s made by lisle. And while it did show up in a box with Lisle 49000 packaging, the packaging looked like it had been through hell and back again and the socket wasn’t even actually in it.On further inspection and use the socket is actually wider in the middle then it is on the throat and when caging a brake pot it actually feels like it wants to slip and round the nut. Something tells me this product won’t last long. 1 star. Spend the money buy something better.
