Dissappointed
I must admit that I haven't read the whole book because I was a little upset at the content. I feel the writer is trying to connect with the age of the reader by using a lot of slang terms for a penis; however I am not sure what that age range would be. I would not let my child read the book until they were over at least 14 years of age and by then I think the book might seem a little corny. Maybe however I am just a prude.? He even mentions that to have fantasies about your sister, while masturbating (which most boys do apparently) is okay as long as you don't act on them. Also if you are masturbating too much (in a compulsive way) that it is just 'spooky' and then offers no comfort to the reader or advice on where they could get help. Another is having your friend toss you off is quite common, apparently. I am not big on credentials however I think this is just a father writing a book with no thought as to how the teenage mind works and what impressions it might leave on the reader.

every parent needs this book
My son is 12 going on 30. when I couldnt even watch tv for the neverending puberty questions. Dont get me wrong I'm not embarrassed to be asked or even answer these questions. But even parents of the year cant answer them all. This book is fantastic we gave it to our son he was giggleing like he'd found a naughty book. where is this book well at my mams she got it after i my hubs n a couple of mates read it.its cleverly written so its true but cool Nick Fisher is very clearly an expert with a sense of humour if you have a dad hubby son or even a male friend this book is a must I thought I was a cool mam when It comes to certain subjects its most def over to Mr Fisher.

Witty informative but beware contains strong language, all the more vulgar playground terms you could hear!
witty, informative but strong language I.e. I've read it to my son but used the proper terms in place of some of the slang words the author uses. I'll give it to my son for his own reading when older, currently he is just 12. I've picked the topics too but this is definitely an informative no holds barred book. The review showed the cleaner bits!

Living with a willy is not easy.
This book is a leaning tool for females and boys alike. It gives females an insight to the things boy have to deal with, but don't talk about. It helped me understand as a parent what my teenage son was going through and enabled him and I to talk about things via the book.

Advice sought
Little bit more than I thought a ten year old should read. Will be asking my daughter if she thinks I’m just being too cautious.

This book is quite something. I think I learnt a few things… I think my husband did too!! My son, after hearing us all at a dinner party laughing raucously and reading excerpts at the table, has avoided it out of embarrassment or terror I'm not sure which. He will maybe sneak a peek when he thinks we're not looking I don't doubt.
