Wooden Watch Box

A good value. Good quality. Good style. What's not to like?

Size, quality, softness of inside material is awesome.

I searched Amazon for a long time to find this. Its beautiful cherrywood is pleasing to the eye. The cushions are perfect and make it easy to store/mount. The metal hinge-stops are great and a must. Good quality for the price. I love this box.

This is a gorgeous watch box, my husband was very pleased. Great price, packaged well.

Hardware and craftsmanship are great. Nice finishing. Three things though. One, it’s a 12 slot box with a compact footprint. Watches over 44mm case size may intrude on their neighbors. Two, the pillows have very stiff sides - not really pillows in that sense, and necessary to fit the compact slots. So, you have to put the watches on the pillow first, then fasten the bracelet or strap. Not a criticism, just saying. Three, and this is the reference to the scratch and sniff comment in the title. The finish on the wood is attractive and well done, but it has an odor or aroma that is subtle but noticeable. Not exactly offensive, more like a varnish or shellac type smell. It didn’t bother me but my wife noticed it and I moved the watch box to my study. It may go away over time with exposure to air. If you or someone in your family has sensitivities to these things you may want to consider that.

Got my mom two watches for Christmas and didn't want to present them in their crummy cardboard boxes. Taking the time for a review because I am actually psyched by this product - the quality really exceeds my expectations for $20. It feels substantial and is well-finished (not a big fan myself of gold-color hinges and clasp but they're totally fine). I got the six-compartment box because it was only a couple bucks more than the smaller one and she can put bracelets around the other cushions or take them out and store rings, etc. Could you spend a lot more? Absolutely, but if you're looking on Amazon you're probably on a Timex budget, not Rolex. A good choice and I might get a black with silver version for myself now that I see it's nice. - Signed, Human Reviewer

TL;DR — Good value, decent craftsmanship, affordable. Buy it if you're looking for a budget case. I consider myself a "pragmatic horologist" (and, no, there's no possible way you could make a joke about that). As such, I look for practical value, not only in the watches I've purchased but in how they are stored as well. Watches lying around atop a dresser or jumbled about in a drawer is just annoying and requires additional organization and cleaning, thereby defeating the purpose of time management. (See what I did there? 😉 ) I wasn't too impressed with watch cases in the budget end of the spectrum, and I couldn't justify spending for an expensive one. I had recently purchased the six-watch, single-row version of this case as a gift, and when it arrived, I was quite impressed, particularly for the price point. Shortly thereafter, I decided to purchase the ten-watch version in a 2x5 configuration for myself, and, for the money, I couldn't be happier. WHAT I LIKE: There is quite a bit to like about this case, from construction to functionality. — The box feels solid and fairly well-made. — The finish is well-done and arrived with no scratches or blemishes, at least that I could see. — The wood seems like a much better choice than the vinyl or faux leather you so often see with budget watch cases. — The latch on the front of the case closes securely and is not loose. — The glass window on the top is an excellent touch, particularly in this price range. — Some of my watches are in the 50mm range, especially when including crown and pushers, yet everything fits well and the lid closes securely. — The "pillows" are shaped to fit in the box and are a nice upgrade from soft miniature pillows I have sometimes seen in this price range. — The covering on the pillows is nice and soft and is not the burlap I have seen advertised with other cases. — The case includes a thin layer of felt on the bottom, which is nice for protecting whatever surface you may be setting it on. WHAT I DISLIKE: — The one hinge on the lid feels loose, even when fully opened. It doesn't seem to affect the usability at all, but it doesn't help to inspire confidence. — While the glossy finish on the case is excellent for what it is, I would have preferred a semi-gloss or matte finish. Not a real issue at all, just personal preference. — Another personal preference would be if the hardware was available in silver. — The color is red. Like, very red, depending on the light source. This doesn't affect the quality at all but is a little bit for my personal tastes. — While the felt on the bottom is a nice touch, mine was slightly off-center, with a small sliver cropping out on the one side. — The wood almost seems to be veneered as opposed to solid wood. I do not know this for a fact, and I haven't tried removing it to see if it's so. Perhaps it's the glossy finish which leads to this perception, I don't know. — The soft covering over the divider inside the case have some little gaps at the edges. It doesn't affect performance at all, just a nit-pick on quality control. Overall, I am very pleased with the case, its functionality, and its craftsmanship. If you're looking for a good value-for-money ratio in a practical, usable watch case, I'd highly recommend getting it. If necessary, I will update this review as I continue to use the case over time.

Very nice finish, quality

Gute Verarbeitung und Optik für das Geld. Wäre noch praktikabler, wenn die Kissen fixiert werden könnten, z.B, mittels Klettverschlüsse.

Ho acquistato alcune di queste scatole da tre posti per riporre i miei orologi. Le ho preferite in questo formato per la comodità nel riporle in cassaforte e per la facilità nel maneggiare un contenitore di ridotte dimensioni piuttosto di uno contenente 10 pezzi. La realizzazione è in legno lucido con tre scomparti porta-orologi rivestita con panno. Con un cristallo sul coperchio che permette la visione del contenuto. In rapporto al costo risulta essere molto ben fatta, solida e piacevole alla vista. I vani risultano ben dimensionati anche se per i cronografi di grandi dimensioni non sono il massimo. Diciamo che se si possiedono più orologi di grandi dimensioni bisogna valutare bene lo spazio del vano consultando le dimensioni riportate dal venditore. Io l'ho trovato un prodotto dall'ottimo rapporto qualità/prezzo e sicuramente lo ricomprerei.

TB article utilisé pour ranger mes bijoux en perles fantaisie donc chaque case est assez grande pour y mettre un collier ou un bracelet sans le plier et risqué de l 'abîmé ... couleur marron presque noir et belle qualité et finition comme indiqué dans l'annonce... très bien emballé et reçu rapidement...

Det ser bra ut, ganska snabb leverans och med bra förpackning. Passar bra för mina klockor, men blir tight om man har bara breda klockor. Jättenöjd, köp bara 👍
