100 Boxes - Wooden Kitchen Matches, Strike On Box Type

Exactly what I needed. Some matchsticks are a little weak, but they are penny matches. I wasn't expecting perfection. Great deal, quick delivery.

I paid about $12 for 3200 matches, which is an fair value, though I guess I wasn't anticipating shipping costs. That said, the matches seem sturdier than Diamond Greenlight matches, which were always snapping on me. The Quality Home matches are also very responsive; the striking pad comprises a series of dots of phosphorus, instead of a long constant strip, and I can strike the match on one of those dots and it'll light. So, super-easy to use.

Great price, works as they are suppose to .Light on first scratch. Will buy again but this should last for a long time

Easy to use and innned to light the fire but some sticks dont light fire and are broken easily. The rubbing material in the side by side ignite fire but minimize after few use. The sticks is of fair quality but not those rubbing on sudes. Otherwise, the match box is of light weight and size is good.

Having had problems in past with match books where the matches have paper (or thin cardboard) sticks, these Wooden Penny matches are a welcome change. (The other matches I was using came in books where you had to tear the match out of the matchbook. Whenever I tried to light those paper/cardboard stick matches, they would bend upon striking and usually fail to light.) As soon as I received these new Wooden Penny matches, I tried to light one and was extremely pleased to see that it lit on first strike. The sticks are wood and therefore they don't bend and that makes lighting the match so much easier. I like that they are the 'strike on box type' matches so each match is easy to access as well.These matches are well packaged. There are 100 boxes in each order. (It sounds like a lot but each box only has 32.) The company did a great job packing all 100 boxes into a postal envelope, giving the envelope the shape of a rigid box. I was able to take a packet of 10 matches out and leave the remaining matches (90 boxes) standing upright in the envelope for future use. It keeps the remaining matches all together so they don't end up all over the place.As of right now, I would highly recommend this product.

I thought these matches were a good deal, so I purchased. I read the reviews and I do not have any trouble with them breaking. However, as you can see from the photo, some of the "matches" do NOT have a head on them (I had already thrown away 4 or 5 before taking the photo). And some of the matches have a tiny red spot on them. These will not light, when I try, I just get a little wisp of smoke and that's it. So about 1/2 of the matches are unusable, which makes these matches very expensive, not a good deal at all. I really need to learn my lesson about not ordering from companies which don't allow returns.

I like I got allot for the price, they are alittle flimsy but most important they work. And that why I like the match boxes.
