Bought a new stem only to discover that 26 mm is no longer a typical size. These shims fixed that issue quick and easy. Fit the bars perfectly, fit the stem perfect too. Nice quality.

In some cases will be to long but they really do the job, good quality.

I really liked the idea of this but the practical application is a hazard. I was getting odd movement in my front end and though I had a wheel issue, it turned out to be these shims. Given this is a shim compression force through the shim is not absorbed due to the thickness. Torque forces, such as when you are cornering, cause your bars to sway with respect to your fork and front wheel. This shifts the handling dynamic every time you corner and when you are climbing.
