Probably the best
You won't have come to these without a lot of thought and knowledge of the sheer expense of incontinence. These cost a lot. My opinion is that they are worth the expense. (BTW, they're almost impossible to find at 'local retailers' - take too much space - and retail prices are so enormous that I was surprised to discover that these were even the same product. Thank goodness, they are.)Comfortable, no scratchy edges; 'dry', with excellent capacity, excellent retention/containment; very intelligently designed. Much more vertical than horizontal, as it were. For those still ambulant, I THINK that these would be considered surprisingly sleek, given their capacity, but my only experience (a year ago) was with a woman confined to bed, unable even to turn. The pads are substantial - not really 'thick', but there's a lot of material - so (with a bedbound user), when they are to be removed, they can usually be left open for at least the start of the clean-up, and then be used to package everything for relatively neat disposal. With practice, one learns to do it so that the velcro-type waist fastenings can be used to seal the bundle!More valuable than my opinion is that of the carers, hospital and care-home staff who were very glad indeed that I supplied these pads. They're simply "better" - and, from the carers' practical perspective, they just work well: they help minimise patient discomfort (and risk of infection) and facilitate the time-costly processes of proper, 'careful care'.P.S. When the bed-bound woman for whom I bought these had no further need, her stock of pads went to an elderly, ambulant gentleman. "Bees knees".

bought in the past - works
bought it as present for my borther-in-law who will be visiting for Xmas - he used them before and said it was the right size, absorbency and quality.
