Catnip Leaf Powder - Nepeta cataria, 4 Oz,(Starwest Botanicals)

I am an herbalist and so I wanted this on hand. I began having a wicked muscle spasm in my back and tried Chamomile first day, which helped pretty well but I still had spasms that woke me in the night when I couldn't be constantly drinking tea or applying oil. So the next day I tried this Catnip because it is a powerful anti-spasmodic and was more aggressive with the dosage than the previous day (2 TB every 3 hours) because the treatment needs to be more aggressive than the symptom. It was like my spasms had the switch turned to "off". I am very happy with the quality of this herb, it is true Catnip that does what I expect it to do. Keep in mind that any herb needs to be replaced after 1 year, to assure proper potency. I bought this last May and used the following January and the potency is evidently still there.
