Cool documentory
Documentary with scientist interviews as well as excellent animation. The movie shows that the evolution theories (there is not just one) that is hundreds of years old based only on seeing that animals have traits that look alike is not acceptable science. We have the technology and science to investigate cells and DNA now. This assumption that evolution is real cannot be proven scientifically and our modern advances in science have discovered the truth of the complexity of cells, DNA and the perfect laws of physics that allow them to live, thrive and procreate. If you choose not to believe in an awesome God who has the mind, power and ability to make all this life on earth then you have to make up some story to explain all this perfection and abundance of life all around us on this planet. The new science research is on the side of those who see clearly that life has always been fragile and intelligent and has to have first a fully formed kind to create another of its kind. I also recommend Spike Psarris Astronomy DVD Set - What You Aren't Told About Astronomy Volumes 1, 2, and 3. Spike who worked for NASA reveals that our robotic space craft that NASA has sent to the planets and moons in our solar system found these planets and moons defy evolution theories and have shown us that our solar system is young. Spike was an evolutionist until his work at NASA with the data from the scientific instruments on these spacecraft proved these planets (including the earth) and moons are young and nothing close to a million of years old. Science is awesome when you prove it is true by demonstrating, observing and repeating the hypothesis. You can do non of that with evolution theories. The proof is that the earth and all of the planets in our solar system are young. GENESIS: Paradise Lost DVD is good science. The heavens shout the glory of God.

The history school systems should be teaching!
What an amazing documentary! The way they break down the book of Genesis gives you a deeper understanding into its Scriptures. It's captivating with very knowledgeable information that even my small child understood. I always knew their was an answer in the Bible for dinosaurs, but the school systems forced that idea out of my head, making me doubt the Bible. I'm so thankful I get to homeschool my children, so I can show them this documentary on the true history of our beginnings. I cannot wait to buy the second addition to the series when it comes out.

Same dvd
Why are both dvds the same? I finished one and it said to be continued. Put 2nd dvd in and it was the same. I thought it was part 1 and part 2.

Biblical truth
Great biblical truth. I thought part one and two was on this disk but I'm sadly realizing there has not been a part two made, yet. Wonderful documentary on our creation.

It's a good source for basic EMP information
It identified additional more specific information sources for critical areas such as natural foods, medicine / remedies etc.

Not worth the $ money. Will not sway highly intellectual atheist nor evolutionist.
Sorry to report, I wasted my money on this. Hoped it would impress my atheist relative but failed. Not much presented over what has been noted before. For someone that isn't already familiar with the material, it would be beneficial. Lots of computer graphics but not really enough actual evidence. Fossils were discussed but not many shown. ...the film was just lacking something. For instance, It was mentioned that science now teaches the earth is round-a globe, which was taught in Job for thousands of years but gave no scripture verse to verify. It was a big let down, blasé. We are well educated & strong Christians that believe in the Bible. Yet we feel this film missed the mark.

Not good enough or accurate enought. One star for visual brilliance and one star for effort..
What an utter double disappointment.I was really looking forward to seeing this. Based on the hype and trailers it seemed an interesting idea to bring together the creationist perspective and scientific evidences. However it fell far short of its promises and claims of revealing such a conjunction.I will be fair and break this production and presentation down in three sections; the Good - the Bad - & the Ugly. The Good:The animation and CGI were stunning. Very well put together landscapes and seas-scapes that we could recognise as a raw and beautiful wilderness on Earth. The studio and sets for the many interviewees was interesting and pertinent to the particular subject and speciality they presented. The flow of the 7 stage creation story, section by section, was adequately done for the presenters to then cite their case. The case studies and arguments, on the whole, were well put together. The Bad:The acting voice of "God", the actual word structure and sentence expressions of narrating the opening chapter of Genesis were utterly over played and an extremely poor rendition of Genesis 1.The voice itself was over produced; overbearing with excessive EQ!So much so it became comical. The intricacies and nuances of each presenters argument fell short of a totally convincing conclusion. This entire huge production isn't informative enough to bring the three highly expressive arenas of Theology, Biology and Anthropology together as a non-bias well intended, evidently obvious grand conclusion. It was SO heavily weighted in its Euro-westernised, idealisticly christianised, trampling of the Hebraic language, lexicon and linguistic hues that the, so called, experts actually misrepresented both the Hebraic language, it's conceptual impact & nuanced meanings, that it didn't get the actual "telling" of the opening of Genius, based on context, across well enough either. One glaring example is the "language expert" interpreting the Hebrew word "Yom" as "Day" and only day! (Aaaaaggghhh!)No! It's the concept of "Time". The length of which is determined by "context".From that point on, they lost their validity in using scripture to justify their argument! Why? Because, apart from misrepresenting Hebrew scripture, it also, in the main body of the argument and particularly the last 15mins, was no longer pointing to "God created" or "God the Creator" but "give yourself to Jesus" instead.Ugh!?At this point I started fast forwarding to get to the next part. But it just simply ended! This whole production is a ruse. A visually encapturing snare to bring the unsuspecting, the unaware, or easily pursuaded and gullible, to the utterly twisted and bogus (so called) "new testament".And worse, the original Torah (5 books of Moses) and the rest of Tanach; all the other early prophetic books (so called old testament) have had both obvious and subtle Christianised changes slipped into its text to artificially point to a new covenant and the advent of J.At this point my heart sank. The production was only using the monumental events and the elusive deeper, spiritual meanings and concepts presented in Genesis as a "got'chya"!🤦🏼♀️The next "bad" thing was the sales con of a 2 disc set.I thought they were parts 1&2. But no! It's the same part 1, twice over . One disc for Europe, the other for different parts of the world. And far too expensive. The Ugly:The screen ratio format. In video production bringing vast cinemascope scenes together with studio space interviews, one needs to have a working ratio of the visual scope. In this production, it didn't work. The ratio was too drastic for the eye to get used to with a severe letterbox window when a single talking head was on, compared to massive vistas the art and spfx team put together. It was also quite jarring to see dinosaurs mingling with Camels and Kangaroos. The narrator's voice was annoying, it was actually a lesser produced version of the "God" voice. So I really had enough of it by 30mins in.The story actually only got to the 6th day of creation, missing out the 7th (this is also why I thought disc 2 was part 2).The spfx section of the humans being created only covered a few text lines in Genesis and not the correct ones either. However, it was completely embellished with superfluous words that, of themselves, didn't give meaning to the event. Thus, the documentary didn't stick to scripture either. That whole scene was very clumsy and didn't fit with the rest of the visuals. I suspect a different company was involved. This production was heavily financed by a group whose purpose is to convince you that you need something they say they've got.It would have been more honest if they just left it to an open theological creationist's standpoint and compared it to a scientific evolutionist's view. But, there were no evolutionists interviewed in the production. So it was massively flawed and biased in all ways and directions. Conclusion:One star for visual brilliance and one star for an attempt to get the dynamics of the creationist Theology on to a short (but way too expensive) dvd.
